This is total BS with the judge keeping the polls open late. If there is a ballot shortage, they can close the line to vote at normal closing hours and let them vote when the ballots arrive. But what that judge has done is allow people to continue to get into line after the closing time. Totally unjustifiable.
Hopefully the administration and Ashcroft were prepared for this tactic. If the Senate or Gov. race ends up extremely tight, is it possible that the USSC could determine that irreparable harm has been done, throw out the results, and order a new election in AR? Such a remedy would have to favor the GOP in a 2nd vote, but is that a possible remedy?

Please pray that we in Illinois don't have a RAT Gov.

Injunction was granted "ex parte" - one side makes an argument, the other gets no notice of what's going on. That injuction f------ sucks.

Hey we ran out of ballots twice at the poll where I was working. But we called in early so they were delivered without anyone waiting more than 10-15 minutes. SO someone should have planned ahead when they realized the vote was heavy!

All hell is going to break loose if those jerks do that again to this precious Country. No more democrat fraud. This Country is trying to TELL the democrats we are sick and tired of their crap. I think they ought to listen. HAVE the Cough, throw up, JUDGES agreed to keep the polls open?

Excellent point! I'd be willing to vote for you to be a judge, but you're obviously too intelligent to make the cut to get on the ballot. Hopefully the administration and Ashcroft were prepared for this tactic. I must confess ignorance about the outcome of the race, but I sincerely doubt that 1) the Administration would take action (as it would jeopardize the "new tone"); and, 2) SCOTUS would take the case (I think they've chickened out in the wake of Bush v. Gore and have effectively surrendered interpretation and whimsical rewrite of this country's election laws to the DemonRats).
