Why is MN taking so long. I went to CNN and every other state has counts at 90%+ accountability?

Fraud is scaring the hell out of me!

Isn't MN hand-counting handwritten ballots for Senator? I don't think they had time to reprint ballots with mondale's name.

Actually, MN is taking a long time because all votes are counted by hand. My source is TV from earlier this evening, not sure which network.

Why is MN taking so long

There are HUGE numbers of ballots which will have to be hand counted, and checked against the books to be sure that voter has not already voted... (like a moderate attempt to avoid fraud/double voting). This is going to take a very long time to do. I do not expect them to be done before late tomorrow.

Because they had to re-print paper ballots for the Senate race, with Mondale's name on it. Each voter had to mark an "X" in the appropriate box, and put it in a separate box. All those votes have to be hand counted in every precinct, hence the long wait for each county to report their results.

Remember that ALL of the Senate ballots have to be counted by hand, one at a time. unlike the optical scan ballots where you get a total of votes at the end of the day.
