Not bad at all. I ummm, 'forgot' to mention a few beers earlier in the evening. LOL. They went real well with the nerves and the doodads and nuts. ROFLOL. I quit when the screen went to the center. I thought it was me. :) Think I know how Darth Vader feels, as I'm still wearing yesterday's makeup. ROFLOL.

Hey Professional, you need to save some of those DUmmy quotes for the 2004 elections. Then we can ask them if their visions of doom and gloom have occurred. It would be a kick. LOL!!!

I still remember like it was yesterday when the late Spy magazine did a cover story on how the Gulf War, with all those cool-looking smart bombs with their video cameras, was slowly becoming a bloody quagmire. That issue hit the streets days after the Iraqis bailed out of Kuwait shortly after the ground war began. I think Joke Conason was working at the rag at the time.

I once made a list of all the popular music songs of the Reagan era I could remember that suggested nuclear holocaust was imminent (Nena's "99 Luftballons," Escape Club's "Wild Wild West," Queen's "Hammer To Fall," The Police's "Walking In Your Footsteps," Europe's "The Final Countdown," Don Henley's "End Of The Innocence," etc.) Some of the songs were pretty good, but they were all wrong.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- there are people who will never forgive Reagan for not blowing up the world like they said he would.

"You are kidding, right? Daschell trying to cut a deal somewhere, anywhere."

I don't know, but if he's going to try to pull his sorry self out of the fire to rise again another day, I'll bet he is desperate to try to keep this defeat from seeming like a personal one (which it was). The only thing that makes me feel a little better is that the feds have been looking at SD since before the election and messing with this could be very risky.

Just over 12% left, Coleman still with a commanding 3+% lead

OK, I’m ready to call this race: stillonaroll is projecting Coleman the next Senator from Minnesota.

Not yet...weigh in the absentee ballot challenges first....

Just imagine DFL workers rounding up absentee ballots and sending them in late tomorrow. Then they go to the courts claiming that voters didn't have enough time to send them in.
