Something's not right with your numbers.

58% of precincts reporting Excellent. I was basing my numbers on Yahoo!, which I guess most of you have already discounted as too late. The 58% number has to mean that most of Arapahoe County has probably been counted. Pueblo area's not necessarily big enough to matter, nor is Boulder, and the rest of the state's pretty much red zone. Oh, pleeeeease let it stay like this.

Tim Hutchinson just gave his concession speech... Mark Pryor (D) wins. Grrrr... Thanks a bunch, Hutchinson! THAT blonde woman at Hutchinson's side is the one he divorced his wife over - and probably lost his Senate seat for??? *BARF*
Peggy Noonan on MSNBC is positively giddy now, over the Republicans' victories. Chrissy Matthews, Howard Fineman, Donna Brazile and Pat Caddell look positively SICK! Fineman: "The Democratic party after tonight is going to be searching for its soul again." Donna Brazile seems to refuse to believe any of tonight's results... she's in total denial. Keeps saying "DemocRATs are still looking good in...." Now she's talking about 2004, 2004... LOLOLOL... I love it! :-D

Chafee might be back in the Repub. fold. GWB appointed Zach Chafee, Lincoln's brother, to a U.S. Attorney position (I think--it was SOME position) in Rhode Island. Zach is considered an up and comer in the GOP...so it is conceivable that brother Lincoln might just sit right where he is.

"While thanking people, we ought to give credit to Fox news for the first media outlet to be fair, to Rush for his radio show, To Sean for his show. Without some national media turning on the liberal group, we would have gotton nowhere fast. This is the best election nite of my life."
Good post. I agree 100%.

"Do Judy's eyes look wet to you?" She looks suicidal to me.

One thing I'm sure I can say with absolute certainty about the runoff, we're going to be seeing President Bush and lots of others in the White House down here for the next month. LOL

Bredesen is a shifty character (did you see that snotty little grin he gave after he had the crowd give applause for the Van Hilleary campaign?) The good news is that the TN House and Senate are going to be more anti-tax after this election.
