Something rotten going on in Ohio? Check out left-wing Buckeye State Blog, which appears to be trying to infiltrate GOP get-out-the-vote efforts:

Conservative website Free Republic is investigating and monitoring. Vessels is also buddy-buddy with a Democrat Communications Director. We discovered this a bit ago- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1732983/posts?page=157#160  Vessels is nicely tied in with Progress Ohio, which has been trying to push Ohio politics left for a while now- http://www.progressohio.org/page/community/blog/ericvessels  Also, http://blueohioan.blogspot.com/2006/08/bloggapalooza-interviews-eric-vessels.html David Lore  is a retired reporter/editor with the Columbus Dispatch...

So, my question is this: What magical thing will happen after we leave Iraq to prevent them from trying these tactics here? They don't need to pull another 9/11. A series of IEDs around a few metro areas would do the job nicely...

Rebounding Across The Polls

The Washington Post poll wasn't the only one to pick up on a shift in momentum, as it turns out. Gaius Arbo at Blue Crab Boulevard points readers to the latest from Pew Research, which now shows the generic Congressional ballot within the margin of error: UPDATE: Gallup also detects a momentum shift, and like Pew, they have settled on John Kerry's remarks as the likely culprit (via AJ Strata): Kerry. The Reincarnation of Bill Clinton (might need a barf bag)-- I agree, he's the best liar they have, but he also bestows the "kiss of death" for almost all he's stumped for. He looked weak and was slurring his words.  This is not a healthy man.
