FLORIDA VOTERS CLAIM MACHINES 'BROKEN', VOTED FOR MCBRIDE, MARKED IT AS AS BUSH

"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'"

So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkprogram NEIL ROGERS SHOW.

"I'll tell you right now, this election is fixed!" roared Rogers, who has been in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for more than 30 years. "Based on a few early calls, it is going to be a wild, wild time!"

Touch-screen and other high-tech voting machines make their full-scale debut Tuesday.

Um, let me guess, these polling places are in "minority districts".

This is just Step 1 in teh GOTV effort - fire up the minorities with cries of "disenfranchisement".

Southwest Florida, where Katherine Harris will be our next congresswoman. Cubans are not the problems. It's the Northeastern Liberals who have migrated here over the last two decades. They expect the same services here that they got in New York and don't care about who pays the taxes to get them. They think cheating on election day is just part of life.

From the (brief) Drudge article:

""I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'" So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkprogram NEIL ROGERS SHOW. You're right, you can never know about Drudge.

(There are federal inspectors watching the voting. Is there any independent confirmation of any voting problems? I'm sure not!)
I heard on the NBC Today Show there were people from other countries like Japan watching. One man wondered what it had come to that we had to have outside help to make sure we had a fair election. That's what you get with a socialist minded people, they cheat if they can.

I posted this on another thread, but it seems to make sense to post it again here:

I was thinking yesterday that what we really need is a way for a voter to PROVE he voted, and for a particular candidate, without anybody else being privy to that information. A system where only the voter can decrypt the electronic ballot, in other words (with password encryption, perhaps). Further, voters could get paper receipts at the time of voting. They could be UPC codes, or something else difficult to tamper with after the fact, but that could be interpreted and compared to the electronic ballot at a later date, if necessary. Of course, in addition to the UPC code, the names of the people voted for would have to be included, otherwise the UPC codes could be falsified when the person voted.

Such a system would also help in weeding out illegal voters. In close elections, contested precincts would have to account for each and every voter, and cross-reference them to lists of eligible voters.

The problem I've always had with the current system is that, once you vote, you have NO WAY of proving that you voted, or for whom, or that your vote registered correctly. The machine could be misaligned, or tampered with, or they could 'lose' your ballot. And I'm sure this has happened too many times to count, all across America.

If we can match airline passengers to their luggage, surely we can match voters to their votes, right? It has to be better than the current system.

> It did this three times.

Where else can a Democrat vote three times and complain about getting short-changed?

I voted for Gore but it was counted for Buchanan McBride but it was counted for Bush, we need to vote again.

(and again, and again, and again, until we can steal the election!)

This is a total scam to try and convince those poor, deluded minorities the rich republicans are trying to steal votes. And they will believe it, just like they did last time, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Good maybe it will backfire. Why would a Dem bother to vote if he thinks the machine will mark it as a Bush vote anyway?

Why did Drudge post this ? For all we know, this could be just be one or two voters. Drudge better not be creating a unnecesary contraversy.

Boward county, Satans seat of Democrat vote fraud, I wonder if there are any Republican observers there. They reported that it's taking 20 mins per voter, an average of three voters an hour to vote on all the things listed on the ballot.

"This is what happens when you allow your state to be turned into a Third World country."

You mean like allowing over 7 million people to migrate from the liberal Midwest and Northeast into our fine state over the last 20 years???? I damn sure don't see anyone moving into those liberal ares, that's for sure.
