FLORIDA VOTERS CLAIM MACHINES 'BROKEN', VOTED FOR MCBRIDE, MARKED IT AS AS BUSH
"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'"
So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkprogram NEIL ROGERS SHOW.
"I'll tell you right now, this election is fixed!" roared Rogers, who has been in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for more than 30 years. "Based on a few early calls, it is going to be a wild, wild time!"
Touch-screen and other high-tech voting machines make their full-scale debut Tuesday.

The Dems are doing everything they can think of to get their hands on those ballots. Those counties that have had above the national average for years of "voting for more than one candidate" causing the ballot to be thrown out. I recall during the Florida mess in 2000 a former Dem said the he knew a master of cheating that commented that if he can get his hands on those ballots, under any kind of ruse, 9 times out of ten he can win that election. The excuse of the butterfly ballot was a cover to get their hands on those ballots.

Florida Election Code §101.51 Electors to occupy booth alone; time allowed.-- (1) When the elector presents himself or herself to vote, the election official shall ascertain whether the elector's name is upon the register of electors, and, if the elector's name appears and no challenge interposes, or, if interposed, be not sustained, one of the election officials stationed at the entrance shall announce the name of the elector and permit him or her to enter the booth or compartment to cast his or her vote, allowing only one elector at a time to pass through to vote. No elector, while casting his or her ballot, shall occupy a booth or compartment longer than 5 minutes or be allowed to occupy a booth or compartment already occupied or to speak with anyone, except as provided by s. 101.051, while in the polling place.

Neil Rogers is just an old butch queen who has nothing better to do than to try to use his bully pulpit to further his personal agenda. Don't let him get to ya.

Agreed. This
article, published today in the Omaha World-Herald about the Omaha-based company that supplies half the voting equipment in the country, including to Broward and Miami-Dade counties in Florida, points the finger for voting problems in those counties at people problems, not machine problems.

Can we criminalize the entire demoratic party??? Hell, I'm for it. I want a strong two party system; Libertarian and Republican.
To: HapaxLegamenon
"Sounds to me like all of these "problems" with the voting machines might just be part of the DemoRATS get out the vote drive."
No, it's more like a "get out the lawyers using taxpayer dollars to sue the Republicans" drive.

My immediate response would be SHOW ME.
I can not believe a word you say until you prove it to me.
To: Wphile
Absolutely! When your platform is collapsing and your candidate is losing you need a reason not to support the winners.
To: mvpel
Wow. You got the goods on them if that was an actual photo of a person voting. Grounds for disqualifying the vote.

Can we let this thread die please? I have to go to my Team Jeb rally soon. LOL. Besides, Katherine Harris should be allowed to give her acceptance speech at 2 p.m. but she'll be nice and let the polls close first.

he sounds like the art bell of politics.....I wouldn't even insult Art that way - when I say that Rogers is a queen, I mean it, literally. He's as gay as the day is long.

John McCain? Hmmm... sounds vaguely familiar. Was he the guy who was Mr. T's boss on the A-Team? Wasn't he the guy in Die Hard (McClane)?

Anyone know where Terry McRAT is today?

You are too quick to pin this on the Cubans. The Cuban-Americans are our friends. It's the North/Eastern "immigrants" that vote Democratic.

If the Bush people were going to tamper with the machines, they would have done it in such a way that it wouldn't show up on the screen<!

"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. That's what you get for voting three times. You're only allowed once. (oh wait, that only applies to Republicans....)
