FLORIDA VOTERS CLAIM MACHINES 'BROKEN', VOTED FOR MCBRIDE, MARKED IT AS AS BUSH
"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'"
So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkprogram NEIL ROGERS SHOW.
"I'll tell you right now, this election is fixed!" roared Rogers, who has been in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for more than 30 years. "Based on a few early calls, it is going to be a wild, wild time!"
Touch-screen and other high-tech voting machines make their full-scale debut Tuesday.

The dems think this will get their base fired up and they are so pathetic! I just saw them trying to say the republicans could not keep their voters from casting a vote. This is so typical. They saw the numbers said pubs are more fired up about voting and are trying their same old dirty tricks. It is disgraceful. Going to vote now!

Yes, there are observers in every district, some are videotaping the entire circus. Typical Broward county corruption.

"Is there any American institution that the Democrats will not defile?"None come to mind!

Given that this was just some caller to a talk show, does this thread merit a slot in the Breaking News sidebar?

Parties and candidates that are winning don't get all bent out of shape at any tactics used against them.
They may publicize them, but they gloat while they do it.
It was either Al and Tipper or Bonnie and Clyde I can't remember which, that said,
"It looks to me liken them S.O.Bs is out get us!"
and they were.

Let's hear some more defense of "electronic voting" machines, where the vote recorded can be changed by changing the programming...

Hmm, looks to me like you might be adding Haitians to that list. Sorry for you.

Screw you. It's only the demorat counties and those counties are infested with people who relocated from the Midwest and Northeast. Don't paint the entire state with that label. What state are you from? We'd love to know so we can shoot you down too.

Put it under humor.

I don't believe this story for a minute. If it were true, the election official would have taken the voting machine off-line and stored it away as evidence of fraud - not say it was to be reprogrammed. In other words, what the caller was claiming would have no way of being verified.
This is just another Democrat get-out-the-vote-by-any-means ploy.
To: MHT
You hit it on the head. It's the southeast Florida demorat corruption brigade in full swing.
To: Nuke'm Glowing
No way to be sure the machine electronically counted the vote as it was printed. There is no way to verify these paperless ballots, that's why the cities are going to be full of them.

This is a total scam to try and convince those poor, deluded minorities the rich republicans are trying to steal votes. And they will believe it, just like they did last time, despite all evidence to the contrary. Exactly. Perception. This is a dishonest attemp to get out the black vote. This is a total dupe. Heh heh. Maybe it'll backfire on them and these voters will decide to vote for Bush so that the machine will register McBride.

When life confuses you, the voting process, which requires decisions, is terrifying!
