Voted at 7:50 this morning in San Antonio. Walked right in.

I told my 11 year old daughter that the responsible way to vote is to study the issues, decide where I stand on the issues. Study the candidates positions on those issues, and then vote straight Republican. She is anti-abortion, pro-tax cuts, pro individual responsibility. I am so proud of her.

BTW: My wife had an ACL repair last Friday and wants to vote in spite of the pain. They told me they would carry the ballot out to the car so she doesn't have to hobble into the polling place. I'm taking her down to vote as soon as I finish this post.

I voted straight Republican, although in Illinois now, you have to vote for each office individually. You can no longer punch one # for either party. I left the unopposed Democrat blank and also voted for the 7 Republicans running for our county board district. There were 8 candidates for 7 seats. The 8th one was a Democrat. Hopefully, being listed first on the ballot will help Jim Ryan and Jim DurKin.
Bill in Morton.
