My husband and I voted straight ticket GOP this am. (Bryan, TX) We were the only ones there, but it's early and it's a very demonRAT precinct.

Light snow in southeast Minnesota, including parts of Twin Cities. This is good for Coleman... his vote in southeast (GOP area) MN will go thru sleet, snow and hail to vote for him.
Worked the phones for Coleman last night and again later today. Voting at 11am.

Good feeling the Bulger gang goes down for the count here in Massachusetts today.
2 votes from this household.

Voted in Pittsburgh. Ditto, our Dem congressman ran unopposed (nobody's ever heard of the guy, he's just a Dem). Unfortunately, even the Libs don't have a candidate, so I left that one blank. Also voted no on that silly proposition. IMHO, regardless of the outcome, that prop will be an excuse to raise taxes: Either we'll be endebted, so we'll "have" to raise taxes or we just won't be able to find any other way to pay for our firefighters.

Carver Minnesota checking in - I was voter 81 at 7:30 - there may be 1000 of voting age in Carver - line of 8 when I arrived with all 4 of the booths full - there was a steady stream coming in and when I left there were 14 people in line. There is but 1 polling station in Carver.
Side note - I had a "challenge registration" notation next to my name - it turned out that they sent me voting info at my street address - which is not my mailing address and is not linked - and got it back - they wanted to validate me.
I needed to produce my drivers license - which has my physical address listed. The supervisor ok'ed me - I told her it was good she did or that I would have caused issues :-)
During the 30 minutes that I was there I saw no one else asked to prooduce ID. Things seemed to be running smoothly.
GO NORM GO!!!!

Kids and I voted! My NC State House Representative district changed....Drew Saunders...unopposed!!!!
Gross. I talked with the poll worker to verify the new boundary. He was not informed of any district information. Oh great. Well, I am off to check the boundaries and verify my bad luck. Have a great day.

Bad weather is good for Republican candidates. Our people will get out and vote regardless.

newtown, ct. (danbury area), chilly but clear; rain expected after dark, so after polls close. the leisure class of hartford will not be inconvenienced; midday temps around 50.

Can someone post the graphic from here? It is the weather radar. Looks like heavy rain in the big easy, and snow in the upper Great Lakes.
http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USNationalWide.asp?loc=usa&seg=LocalWeather&prodgrp=RadarImagery&product=Radar&prodnav=none&pid=none Thanks! All clear in Cleveland, but rain on the way. Ohio really does not have any contentious elections. Still, tried to send Sherrod Brown packing.

What did the "packers" look like?
To: mwl1
rain and heavy rain expected today in New Orleans, Atlanta, Memphis, Little Rock, Charlotte. This is good for GOP and particularly bad for Cleland, Landrieu and Bowles. Anyone agree? From your keyboard to God's ears eyes.
