I just heard on NBC, cable deprived, sorry about that, that VNS has announced they cannot rely on the data they are getting from the exit polls. This could mean several things. They expect someone hacked the computers, they know better after the experience of 2000, the voters are getting smart enough to lie to the exit poll person, or (and this is what I hope) the Republicans have such a strong showing they are sure there is something wrong! They will be reporting, using technology of the 1960s, i.e., the actual vote count (!), but they promise to broadcast in color.

And every one of their votes is a vote for the Democrats.

That's why the DemocRat's don't do anything for them, but pay them lip service. Because they KNOW that they are going to vote DemocRat.

If someone is SURE of you vote then why do anything for you? Maybe one day black people in this country will wake up and realize that in order to courted by politician's your vote needs to be "in play" so to speak. If your vote is locked up and not "in play" then no one is going to do sh*t for you.

Hispanics, and Asians have wisely realized this.

Voted for straight Republican in Ohio. Mike Turner for 3rd district to take Tony Halls seat. This district is now slightly Republican after the re-districting. Should be a Turner victory and pick up a dem seat in the house.
Taft is a shoe in for govenor.

Have to agree with you on Grabauskas in MA. Anyone who could do what he did to the Motor Vehicle Bureau is a genius!

Husband and I voted straight repub about five hours ago. We are in a good county{Montgomery)just north of Houston. I have been put in the bedroom with laptop and remote and told to stop yelling and "keep it down in there"! I saw CNN (during commercial on FOX)giving the DNC litany of "abuses by rep" yada yada and Judy W. saying she is glad people now know not to worry they have to have their tickets paid before voting. That stupid flyer has DNC fingerprints all over it. They will do anything to "get out the vote" Go Republicans--I'll be up all night with other freepers hoping for good news! Texas looks good!

You could tell who the pubbies in line were by the laughs.

Lived in same house 5 years and still had to vote using provisional ballot EVEN AS A POLL WATCHER - PISS ME OFF - Voted at 7:30 am and then did some poll watching and just got relieved. Going to Allard HQ to take two people to the polls then its back to HQ to watch returns. Do not worry about Strickland's early lead - it could actually help give them a false hope. WE FEEL REALLY GOOD ABOUT TAKING THIS ONE SOMEWHERE BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 1AM!!!! THROW THE RATS OFF THE SHIP!!!!!!!!!

Just voted (Middlesex county, NJ).. the polling station was empty. I spoke to my neighbor who voted in the same polling station as I did, only around noon - it was empty then, as well. Oh, needless to say, I voted for Doug Forrester.

Voted here in north central San Antonio, Texas.

The voting was quite confusing...I mean, it took my four year old (who went with me) about 8 minutes to complete the ballot. She knows what an "R" is and knew that she had to take the marker and fill in the "weird circle" next to it with black ink.

MY FOUR YEAR OLD UNDERSTOOD THE BEXAR COUNTY BALLOT THE DEMS WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT!!!

But, happy to report, there were no demos campaigning illegally in the polling site. There were no poll workers with agendas.

This was a welcome departure from our old home in Raleigh, NC. There, they had active demos campaigning in the doorway of the polling site and, when I approached the poll manager to complain, I was told "what should I do about it.

Not here in Texas.

God bless TEXAS!

Here in Brazos county, there were over 10,000 early, 2,000 more than during during the 2,000 election. This evening they don't have enough precinct workers, enough voting boxes, or enough ballots. The turnout is big. Brazos county will go Republican all the way, I'm betting.

I absolutely agree. I had no problem with the ballot and heard of noone else who did. Palm Beach was an excuse to challenge. The dems work very hard to manufacture those excuses.

I got done voting in Anne Arundel Co., MD. We have a simple connect-the-disconnected-arrow-by-drawing-a-straight-line ballot. Very simple to use. I had no problems voting and there were no rats outside the polling area, just a couple of repubs. Nice guys I stopped to chat with afterward. One advanced the theory that if KKT won, she would probably be Hitlery's running mate in '04. That's a post-Halloween scary thought.

Just voted in Columbia MD, straight R. My wife, who is registered D (we're working on her), only voted for people if she knew where they stood on the issues. Hence, she voted for Ehrlich/Steele and Bob Adams for State Rep.

Amusing Anecdote: We were not quite sure where our polling station was but we knew the general location. While looking for it, we stumbled on what was either the Vernon Gray HQ or the Howard Dem HQ that happened to be in the same shopping center as our polling place. Since we were lost, my wife went in to ask them where the polling place was located. All they would repeat to her, until I walked in, was "This is not a polling station". I walked up to them and said "Yes, we know that. We are looking for the polling station that is located in this shopping center". It took a few tries, but eventually we got through the muck that resides in all D's minds and they pointed us on our way. On the way out the wife stage whispered "I'm not voting for that guy, he has idiots working for him"

Made my night.

I just back from voting up here in Vista, CA. Voted straight Republican on the national candidates. Could not vote for Estes for Vista Mayor, even tho he was endorsed by the Pubs. Too many shenanigans with the current bunch in city hall for me to vote for any incumbents. Any city that takes 25 years to decide on a redevelopment scheme, .....(well, words fail me for a suitable finish to that sentence).

Voted for Pfingst for DA, only because I went to law school with Dumanis. OK, so call that the emotional vote.

Also voted no on 52. Count 3 votes from this household for Simon!!
