Voted in Nebraska.

No one at the polls, the races here are not that close. The registration book only had two other names signed in other than mine out of about 20 from what I could see.

I did, for the 4th straight election, vote against every tax increase on the ballot.

Democrats Suck.

Thank you, but I wasn't kidding about him killing me. He's out right now dragging neighbors to the polls and calling others on his cell phone. He even checks after elections and yells at his friends who didn't vote. Other than Thanksgiving I think this is his favorite time of the year. It's always very refreshing to hear from a young person like yourself. Congratulations on your first vote!

Finally was able to get to the polls. Wanted to go early this morning before work, but found out the polls didn't open until 8:00 am (I'm used to them opening earlier), so I had to go back on my lunch hour.

Voted pretty much straight Repbulican ticket (where it indicated party affiliation) although I did throw the dems a couple of "sympathy" votes on a couple of low-level county positions where they were the only candidate running. Hey, that gives me plausible deniability if someone tries to accuse me of voting straight part line no matter what!

Reporting in from Valley Ranch! Polling place is across the street from Dick Armey's office...as you might expect, it's a pretty conservative area.

How conservative is it? When my daughter was in 5th grade (5 years ago), her teacher did not mention Clinton's name until the third or fourth day of class. When he did, he was greeted with a chorus of catcalls from 20 fifth graders!

I had to stand in line about 5 minutes to vote. I know that doesn't sound like much, but that's the first time I've had to wait at all, and I've lived here about six years.

We have the fill in the oval ballots--did not see anybody having difficulties. That included watching a mom voting accompanied by three kids under 5 years of age. The polling place was well staffed with four people working.

Just got back from work and dashed down the block to get my vote in for the straight ticket.

Here in Jersey I never feel my vote is wasted or being cancelled out. I just hope I'm cancelling out someone elses vote.

This just in on my answering machine.....according to exit polls...as of 3 PM the Jersey Senate Race is in a statistical dead heat. It was from a Forrester campaign worker wondering whether I had voted yet. Not sure what to make of it.

Just got back from the polls here in overcast (but not raining) Chicago. Voted for Ryan, Durkin and assorted other longshots. Very few people there when I voted but it was at 3:00 cst. No irregularities or problems with the ballot. Stuck it in, poked a few holes, and was done in under two minutes. I checked for hanging chads, dimpled chads, pregnant chads, Republic of Chads, Chad Everetts, Chad Lowes, and other assorted hangers-on. (sorry if I stole someones material, I didn't want to read the other 1,327 posts) Hopefully the Jim Ryan vote will make a difference because I doubt we will be able to get that Rat Durbin out of office.

Voted this morning in North Orange County, California this morning. No waiting, no fuss, no muss.

A big THANKS to the retirees working our polling place.

Another big THANKS to our fine Congressional Representative, Ed Royce (R). Mr. Royce's fine voting guide was a big help, especially regarding judges.
http://www.edroyce.com/
Mr. Royce pointed out the judges appointed by the "unclean one" Joe (Gray's real name) Davis, so we can dump them as well.

Remember the mantra:

BONDS = TAXES!

DUMP DAVI$!

GO SIMON!

FYI: I heard on CBS news that a software problem with the voting machines in "heavily Republican" Tarrant country Texas failed to record the votes of voters who voted "straight down the ticket" Apparently 865,000 registered voters are affected.

Anyone vote straight down the line on one of these machines?

Voted in TX - Perry, Cornyn, Dewhurst, Culberson...heck, I voted a straight ticket. Used the brand new e-Slate machine. You'd have to be a Democrat not to be able to figure it out - it's that easy!

GO CORNYN GO!!

Cold and rainy in this part of Ohio, too. Hopefully, the democrats will stay indoors. I'm getting antsy and have to work the graveyard shift with no access to a radio. I have my cell phone, though!

Just got in from voting a straight Republican ticket in Orange County, Florida, and voting to get rid of ALL the sitting judges.

I had no problem voting at my precinct.

Done and done in Crafton, Western Pennsylvania! Wife and son went earlier today, her Uncle and I went around 3pm Eastern. We all vote pretty much pubbie, and I think that's the way the we all voted today.

I was number 225, and that is pretty high turnout so far. Rain is moving in now and that may deter a lot of rats.

That said, I really didn't have much to vote for. As far as I'm concerned Fisher is no conservative, and proves as much with his impotent campaign. I had several email exchanges with the campaign manager and while he said I made valid points regarding the lackluster effort, refused to impliment anything I menntioned. We'll see who was >Right< in a few hours - pun intended.

How I wish the PA pubbies would run a real conservative!

Oh well, time to make lemonade out of lemons. The next 4 years with Rat Rendell as PA Gov should provide tons of political fodder as well as more than a few opportunities for FReeps.

I feel like I was "robbed" of my joyous Election night "moment" in 2000; I want it tonight!

You are so right. Thanks to Al Gore, though, I don't know if I'll ever be able to completely relax and enjoy such a moment, after all the surprises, twists, and turns of Election 2000.

Sore/Loserman may not be on the ballot this time, but that mentality still runs rampant in the Democrat party.
