Hey everyone get on the phones....no matter what state you are in call your friends and get them out to vote....it isn't over yet....if you friend can't make it because of car problems...go get them or locate a ride....just encourage them..... Yah! I returned a call that was to my 17 year old brother form Republican HQ in Upland, Cali. They had wanted him act as a runner by visiting the polls and reporting back the names of registered Republicans who had not yet voted. They needed volunteers to to work the phones and get ahold of registered republicans who had not yet voted. Of course the pizza is free ;-)

And that makes you the 800th distinct Freeper to come and announce that you have gone out and voted to advance our conservative causes!! Eagles' up!!!

Back from voting in Central Florida.
We don't have the 'touchscreen' machines here......
..we have the large ballot with a fill in the circle type vote...& clear instructions to fill in the entire circle, as they won't count just a mark or dot on the circle :^
Folks were steadily streaming in, and the the voting machines were almost full.
I did not vote for the pigs :^
...but I did vote to rid Florida of one of those wascally Florida Supreme Court Embarrassments!!!
On a positive note, I voted BIGTIME for JEB, and Congressman Dave Weldon!!!!!!

Thanks.
I've been reading your posts for a long time.
This is where I go every day to find out what's goin' on.

Young male Dem campaigner outside trying to hand me literature about Dem congresional candidate.Heh, lucky. At my polling place there was NOBODY from any party, as dead quiet as is it any other day. They also had the "300 ft limit - no electioneering beyond this point" signs plopped down no more than 50 feet from the front door. Which I guess kinda makes sense, since 300 feet from the front door in any given direction, you'd find yourself two irregularly-shaped, disconnected streets away.

DC VOTER ALERT
Well, not nearly as exciting here as in other places, but I thought I would check-in for the record.
I just voted for every available Republican but one.
YES to Carol Schwartz (R) for Mayor. When things were really bad, and this city had a worse reputation than Kabul, she was the only one who stood up to Marion Berry.
YES to Eric Rojo (R) for Ward 3 City Councilman. When his opponent Kathy Patterson ran the first time it was to improve our dismal schools. That must be damn near a decade ago, and our school system still STINKS. Just as importantly, Rojo is for the REPEAL of the Master Business Licencse, a new scheme whereby independent business people ( such as myself ) have to pay a large fee if we do ANY business in the city, even if our office is based in Virginia or Maryland! What a rip-off. This may drive may people out of business.
NO to David Catania, the Gay Republican on the City Council, who I have voted for every time before, because he insulted the Pope & my Religion! (Sorry folks, but I cannot vote for that).
I wrote in Eric Rojo for that post instead, and for my second At-Large vote, I voted for Tony Dominguez, an anti-tax, law-and-order Independent.
And finally, YES to Ms. Sasaki (R) for Shadow Senator.

Done bump.

You do know I hope, that you will now become so hopelessly hooked to FR that you may never see the outside again?
To: Dales
My family and I voted early-now we feel that we are missing the usual Tuesday voting experience-getting up an hour early and voting or screeching to the poll at the last minute because of rush hour traffic or watching the clock, as we vote at the lunch hour.I feel as edgy today as I did in 2000.

Young male Dem campaigner outside trying to hand me literature about Dem congresional candidate.Interestingly, there was no Rep campaigner outside. This is a heavily Rep area, so maybe the thought was that it wasn't necessary. I'll try to volunteer next time, when Rick Santorum (R-PA) is up for reelection to the Senate.

Kansas voter here, trying to send everyone Pat Roberts in the Senate (in the bag) and Adam Taff in the House (it will be a long night on that one).
Just voted in northern Orange County NC, near Person Co. line. Only a couple people in there but I was voter #623.

It seems to me that dead polling places during the day, on a Tues. is Great news for Republicans, as most are working and will vote after work.
The "Walk to the Polls in the middle of the day" Dems aren't there, and that's the important thing.
To: Dales
Pittsburgh, PA -- just got back from voting...only one other voter in my (small) polling station.

My hubby and I voted, first time we actually prepared the night before. Checking our sample ballots making sure we wouldn't cancel out votes out. Straight republican tickets.
I was encouraged when I heard the minister this morning on radio say, he's pleased with President Bush and he encouraged those to help him. Let's see what Bush can do when he has men/women in Congress that can get the job done.

Sorry. South Dakota, home of the soon to be ex-senator Johnson. Turnout great here in Thune Country.
A few years ago, during the impeachment hearings, Daschle was here on a "Meet the little people" event. He and his entourage (and camera crew) came to our manufacturing plant
for a luncheon that I catered (under duress). About one third of our employees refused to attend even with the offer of free ribs. He was absolutely charming (read smarmy). He oozed smarm. He is one of the few men I don't
look up to. I'm only 5'2" LOL!
To: Dales
Just finished voting for Fisher, Shuster and the local candidate, C.J. Spencer. Time for a Molson.
To: Dales
Allen TX here, just left the polls, one more for straight Republican. Turnout is HIGH, and if demographics and the past are any indication, the Republican base is on the move!
To: Grampa Dave
I voted yes on 48 and no on 49 That's what I did too.
