Is it raining where you are? The animals are gathering in twos around here.

Beautiful, rintense. I just visited the anniversary pics and these and now I have smiley tears to deal with. Just showed my husband their picture from when they were first married and told him to compare that to the homely pics of the trash couple from about the same year. Whoa, what a difference, the ex-first couple look like hateful geeks. GW and Laura look so happy with themselves and each other. Thank you for the extra site.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, GEORGE AND LAURA!!! Hope the elections are a special present for them tomorrow.

What wonderful baby pictures! Our President and First Lady are not too bad either! I am in just for a few minutes-busy getting things ready for tomorrow. Guess I will stay at the hospital most of tomorrow. Daughter called earlier today and wanted to know her uncle's middle name. She was updating her will!!!

Oh what GREAT PICS!! I wonder how Lawgirl made out today. I am anxious to hear!
I got to see GW in Downingtown, PA a week or so ago, then got to see him again in Harrisburg, PA last Friday. I got a hug from him in Harrisburg! I was so very thrilled!!!! I got his signature on my ticket in Downingtown. He didn't have a pen in Harrisburg. I was all set to have my "Runner's World" with him on the cover signed. But since I saw he didn't have a pen I asked him for a hug. I should have asked for a kiss LOL, but I wasn't brave enuff!
In Harrisburg after my hug, I put my hand on GW's shoulder and told him that we prayed for him every night. He moved another step down the ropeline after I said that. I didn't think he heard me at first, because I'd said the same thing to him in Downingtown and he didn't hear me. So I raised my camera to take another picture of him, but THIS time, he looked back at me and responded. He said something to me with the most sincere, appreciative, enthusiastic look on his face, but I didn't hear him, nor did I read his lips. All I knew was he had his eyebrows raised and said something back to me. I was kicking myself for raising the camera, when I saw he started to respond to me, I put it back down, If was wasn't concentrating on my camera, and watched him with my eyes, and not the camera lens, I might have heard him, or made out what he said. But I am soooo thrilled he heard me. He seems to take such comfort in our prayers.
Oh, BTW, i've been reading this wonderful thread for awhile now, but have not had the bravery to post until now! You are all such WONDERFUL people!!! I'm so glad there are such fantastic people to converse with about our Godsent President, and his lovely wife. Those who saw him today were lucky as they got to see Laura too!!!!!!! GW told us in Downingtown that we got the short end of the stick because Laura was appearing somewhere else that day. That was hilarious!

Thank you for the wonderful double doses. It is keeping my mind off the nerves I have about tomorrow. I am not ready for another never ending election. I know I should not be selfish, but I am praying that God lets us win quick this time!

I love 'em too ! -- it is so refreshing to be proud of America's First Couple again (after 8 years of lies and disgrace) -- Prayers for a well deserved rest for the President and Laura -- and let's hope/pray that they'll receive the wonderful Anniversary gift of a Republican House and Senate !

I like your post. Welcome. I first saw our president in the summer of 2000 during the campaign. He gave me hope for our country that I had not had since 1980, after Reagan had been elected. He is a breath of fresh air in contrast to the foul stench which had formerly circled the WH during the Clinton years.
