For what its worth, I'm afraid a bunch of people in Houston, TX are going to be disenfranchised - by the rain we are having.
Three days straight and supposed to continue through the night...many streets are closed. I'm not sure who this hurts more - but my guess is it hurts Kirt more than Cornyn.

It's raining here in the DFW area also. I know that if Cornyn wins it will be by a slim margin and the democrats will try to get it over turned via the courts. Given the illegal population here, our votes may have already gone the way of the do do bird, it remains to be seen.
Texas Freepers will have to make a showing, do we have the numbers to make an impressive showing in front of the court house? I hope we can count on each other to be there.

Don't forget absentee ballots, which I predict will go heavily for Cornyn - military trends very Republican, and with no income tax, there are a lot of the military from Texas.

If Perry is up by 10-12 points, no way IMO Cornyn loses.

I don't know about that. A good section of the solid conservative districts are almost underwater. I"m not sure what the wards look like (heavy black population), but NW Houston creeks are out of their banks.
