ZOGBY's FINAL NUMBERS- released to subscribers tonight 9:45 to Midnight
Zogby

Posted on 11/04/2002 6:18:19 PM PST by VAGOP

ZOGBY's final numbers (which include polling from tonight) will be made available to subscriber's only between 9:45 PM and Midnight. I am a subscriber and will update my fellow freepers ASAP after getting the latest numbers. I have listened to Zogby a lot today and he seems to be indicating a swing back to the Republicans after suprisingly poor republican numbers this weekend. One note, Zogby does internal polling for Sunnunu and will not release these numbers unless Sunnunu is up beyond the margin of error- something to look for. I was pessimistic this weekend but now believe- Repubs +1 if we hold Colorado.

I liked what Laura said the day after the Wellstone Rally. She said it looked like a Star Wars bar scene, LOL.

I was barely able to finish my philosophy paper yesterday because I kept on getting distracted and started reading news stories about the election.

No kidding. I've got Inventory for work tomorrow, which means I'll be home all day counting all my copier parts. It's gonna be REAL HARD to stay off the PC looking for exit polls, and stay disciplined enough to finish my work!!

He likes the idea of being a "honcho," and is being courted by his fellow Pubbies

In a narrowly divided Senate, it is often advantageous to be the Senator that needs to be courted by his own party on votes. This can give a senator more leverage in negotiating. If Chaffee switched to the RATS, he would not have anywhere near the kind of influence he can have as the marginal Republican.

My theory is that all the pessimism, negativity, scowling and self-loathing that goes with being a liberal just turns you into an ugly person. Thank God I married a conservative.

BTW Forrester will be the shock of the day beating the Louse.

I wouldn't count on that, but I have been saying for more than a week that this race will be stunningly close.

My last conversation on the train this evening was with a 50-something fellow who never voted until a few years ago and has no party preference, but who will be voting for Forrester out of principle.

If the election were this minute----SD, MN, MO, CO, NH, GA, TX, NC, SC, and TN would be ours. The only probable loss is now AR. That puts us up three--which would negate a Chaffee departure.

Zogby was just on Laura Ingaram and stated that Sununu will win NH, so hopefully that means you will have some numbers.

FYI-Last Friday on the Sean Hannity radio show, Zogby wouldn't call the race and explained he was working in some capacity for the Sununu camp.

You are a blessed man.

Yes, I do believe anyone that has ever not 'fit in' to a world of relative absolutes (God, the Constitution, the laws discouraging 'self-abuse', etc.) gravitates to the liberal point of view and is accepted.

The 'ugly' then goes to another level.

There are also those that can't lead based on principles that America was founded on - so they lead in the 'cult' of liberal.

Your thoughts o'wise-one? (love that handle!)
