Car explosion kill 6 alleged al-Qaida members

NBC, MSNBC AND NEWS SERVICES

SAN'A, Yemen, Nov. 4 — Six al-Qaida suspects were killed Monday when the car they were traveling in blew up in northwest Yemen in an area where authorities believe the terror group is active, Yemeni security officials said. They included a suspect in the al-Qaida linked attack two years ago on the U.S. warship in a Yemeni port.

Re: "Why bother with dummies?"

The psyops value is priceless, and if one of these Osama-loving-sycophants *did* manage to shoot one down they'de have nothing more than braw straps, rubber bands, bulsa wood and duct tape to hold up on al-gasera Terrorist News Network.

Perhaps someone can explain to me why this isn't a contravention of the current policy against assassination?

Probably because, iirc, the policy against assassination is an executive order signed by a previous presidentthat most likely deals with foreign heads of state/members of government... Last I heard, Al Qaeda is not a government...

You posted, "Payback is a Bitch, is it Not?

Actually, this is just a minor down payment towards total payback! First OBL became parts and pieces last December in some cold cave in Afghanistan.

Now one of his fellow al Qaeda top sand fleas just got roasted with 5 of his best buddies.

Many more significant payments will be paid off before we consider that our Payback is finished.

You can thank some of the Rat Senators in our senate now for making the killing of the leaders who want to kill us a crime. Bidin, Leahy, Kennedy, Da$$hole.

I think that we are approaching a new page in warfare. That is we kill the despots who try and want to kill us instead of destroying all those around them including a lot of innocent people.

If we kill a thousand like the clymer killed today and about 10 to twenty top leaders in each nation who have funded terrorism the past two decades, this war on terrorism would basically be over. Jail and try every mullah of death who has preached kill Americans and Jews for the past two decades to free the middle east from their poison.

I hope al-qeada reads this thread, or any other with this info. Let those bastards know they can be killed in a car, walking on the street or in a bordello. Let them know meals must be taken fast, prayers on different rugs in different mosques, and if they go home to their concubine, they may not emerge intact.

The embassies, the Cole, Kobar towers, 9-11 etc. will be remembered until all of the al-qeada meet their virgins in hell.

According to this site, missile cost, it is only $8,000. Quite a bargain.

No the first part is the key. It is an Executive Order (EO 12333). Now, boys and girls...which branch of the federal government do Executive Orders originate from? :o)

The text of the Executive Order is here:

http://www.cia.gov/cia/information/eo12333.html

You're right in that the assassination provision does not mention foreign government leaders.

"2.11 Prohibition on Assassination. No person employed by or acting on behalf of the United States Government shall engage in, or conspire to engage in, assassination."

If you look at the date of this EO some of you may be surpised! Dec 4, 1981.

This link includes the name of the signatory president at the bottom of the page:

http://www.fas.org/irp/offdocs/eo12333.htm

This gets more interesting all the time.

How hard would it be for Dubya to sign an order reading as follows:

"The provisions of EO 12333 Section 2.1 are suspended with respect to the following named individuals..."

FNC just showed a video clip of some arab poking around the wreckage. IT WASN'T MUCH MORE THAN A BLACK SPOT IN THE DESERT!!!

'twas a beautiful thing. I guess that's what happens when you hit a passenger vehicle with a serious anti-armor weapon.

According to Arabic web sources tonight, the six whom the US took out were on their way to assassinate the US Ambassador to Yemen, Ambassador Hull (now safe). Here is his background; this may explain why they reportedly wanted to get him. They ended up themselves being sent to their virgins, instead! Let's Roll!

From US Embassy, Sanaa, Yemen website: "Edmund J. Hull was sworn in as the American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen on September 17, 2001 by Secretary of State Colin L. Powell. Previously, Mr. Hull served as the U.S. Department of State's Acting Coordinator for Counterterrorism. Mr. Hull was instrumental in mobilizing international support for sanctions, including UN Security Council Resolution 1333, against terrorists and countries supporting terrorism. He has also led U.S. delegations to meet with the UN, the G-8, and the EU, as well as India, Canada, Japan, Yemen, Israel, the Palestinian Authority, the UK, Central Asian states, and Spain. He also joined Under Secretary Pickering in launching the U.S.-Russian Working Group on Afghanistan."

Seems like our intel has greatly improved as we have ramped back up after 911. We are hitting them pre-emptively with increasing regularity. Sure glad to see this bunch has been 'dispatched' before they could carry out their plans.

I wonder if this was in any way related to them reportedly picking up one of Osama's wives in a raid at her family's compound in Yemen a couple of days ago.

Ernest, if this elimination of these scumbags is true, this just might be called preemptive.

No gripes here!! I love it!!

I think that it all ties in together with our better intel.

There are not that many key al Qaeda thugs/leaders. There are not that many key financiers of al Qaeda. We apparently have identified many of these thugs and are monitoring them closely. Or we are waiting for them to show up at know previously safe houses for them.

We even knew about certain specific id data on the right leg left by the departed thug to be able to id his leg.

We have voice prints, profiles, marks that identify them and other id data. This data is on computers and being used 24/7 to monitor and to identify these scumbags.

The hunt is now on for them. They will not be that hard to find.

Please read my reply #159 about iding and identifying these key al Qaeda thugs.

Now we able to track or identify them when they show up. The hunt is on, and the fate of these 6 is what waits the others.

Preemption is now a reality. Not the destruction of a country, but destruction of the evil ones who caused 9/11 and other acts of terrorism.
