In memory of my fellow Vietnam helicopter pilots who were killed in that war the following were lost on NOV 4. God bless them all.

1965 CPT Royal C. Fisher Jr. -- C/227 AHB 1 CAV, Age 34, Baytown, Texas
1965 WO1 James W. Sizemore -- C/227 AHB 1 CAV, Age 23, Hattiesburg, Mississippi
1965 MAJ Richard E. Steel -- HHC/227 AHB 1 CAV, Age 32, Texarkana, Texas
1965 CW2 Joe T. Welborn -- C/227 AHB 1 CAV, Age 30, Corpus Christi, Texas
1969 CPT Alfonso R. Castro -- 192 AHC, Age 26, Los Angeles, California
1969 CW3 Terry L. Alford -- 281 AHC, Age 30, Pasadena, Texas
1969 CW3 Jim R. Cavender -- 281 AHC, Age 29, Santa Paula, California
1969 CW2 John S. Anderson -- 192 AHC, Age 19, Waterloo, Iowa

In memory of the members of the 227 AHB 1 CAV.

MAJ Steel, CPT Fisher, CW2 Welborn and WO1 Sizemore were all killed during a combat assault near An Khe when their UH-1D's collided. A total of 11 (crew and passengers) were killed in this terrible accident.

A tribute to CPT Alfonso R. Castro and CW2 John S. Anderson of the 192 Assault Helicopter Company.

Captain Alfonso R. Castro, CW2 John S. Anderson, two crewmen, and three passengers crashed in bad weather in Zuc Me pass near Da Lat. They were missing in action until the wreckage was found almost three years later.

Thank-you for our daily reminder of our fallen heroes. May God have them in His loving arms for all of eternity and may He grant comfort to their families.

We need to give thanks to God that we are Americans and have the PRIVILEGE of voting for our leaders. May God and our consciences guide us to make the correct selections.
