Thanks again for your efforts. I know Arkansas well, and there are many fantastic people there living side by side with some pretty awful ones. It is an extremely opportunistic society with a frontier-like tolerance for corruption.
Good people, over time, can and will change that. Getting rid of former Governor and felon Jim Guy Tucker and electing Governor Huckabee was the most promising step yet.

If MJ-GA's reaction last night on Paltalk in the Patriots of the Republic room was any indication of the feeling in GA. Yeah, I think that they are somewhat Elated!!!! lol. They did a great job down there.

Sweetliberty, I worked my a$$ off yesterday at the precinct. The precinct that I was a manager in is predominantly black and until 2000 was one of the most corrupt in the state.
We had one major incident from the democratic side, the other was caused by a republican watcher (he ticked me off so much, I'm still mad about it.)

Thank you, Arkansas Freepers! You'll win over a majority of the state, yet. Congratulations to Gov. Mike Huckabee. Arkansas residents re-elected the man who gave the voters a chance to voluntarily pay higher taxes. Go, Arkansas! (^:

ROTFL!!!! That is GREAT! I love it!
To: Budge
Don't worry, Budge. We have two Dem. Senators (temporarily (^:), and just re-elected a wonderful Republican Governor, a Republican legislature and sent Katherine Harris to DC to keep the Rats in check.
The U.S. Senate is now officially in Rep. hands and Leahy, Daschle and co. (Pryor) are no longer in the driver seats.

Thanks for your update. Sorry about Arkansas' loss. Keep on keepin' on.

Oh man, KLT, if that is a picture of you, you'd fit right in! In fact, you (the pic) look just like my next door neighbor, except the guy in your pic has more teeth. :)

That's Terry McCauliffe after having his face rearranged by the Republicans. LOL! And Carville with the trash can on his head was SO perfect! Life is good! ROTFL!!!
To: Terriergal
Didn't mean to ignore you; just saw you posted to me about "copying my post." Glad you did.
To: Terriergal
Hi Terriergal, I just copied the "Great Seal" off FR, then blew it up and printed it on four sheets of paper. It was my first time ever doing that (Got the idea from a fellow FReeper when I was in D.C. at a rally there.) I haven't tried anything larger that four sheets yet.
Wish I could remember the FReepers name who told me how to do it. Was it saurapod?(sp?) Anyway, he had a much bigger sign with a great picture of Reagan!

Thanks, again, for all your updates and pics and hardwork out there. I know you're disappointed about the results for your state. But, the big picture is a good thing and that will help YOUR state. And, you have a Repub. governor, correct? All in all, this is good. Hopefully, the beginning of something even better.
To: Ragtime Cowgirl
Ok, RC. Hey, that sounds kinda like Florida. :) Maybe I oughtta move there!

I thought I replied to this early today, ~Kim~, but I don't see it. Anyway, check the Arkansas Page here, the folks in Little Rock were on top of it and explain it there.
