We have just returned to Budge's house to do the FReep report because there is a lot of information to report.

In attendance were Budge, Travelgirl, The Battman, parsifal, Don Frivoinai, sweetliberty, and another FReeper who, for reasons you will come to understand shortly, needs to remain anonymous until after the election.

We arrived at Budge's around noon to get everything set up for the maiden FReep of the Arkansas Hog Wild FReepers and the FReepmobile. We got to the site around quarter after 1 and finished up some signs and headed over to the convention center to await the arrival of XXX42 and his horde of Rats. There we were joined by several folks from the Hutchinson campaign and there were quite a few folks who came down from Mount Ida. There ended up being about 30 of us on the outside.

During the wait, we were informed of quite a few "questionable" things going on. For starters, there was one young man who is active with Tim Hutchinson's campaign who was threatened with arrest if he didn't leave the premises. He had done nothing to provoke this action other than they knew who he was. One of the FReepers who is a poll watcher was also threatened with arrest when she tried to go inside the convention center. Another young man who is a Hutchinson aide had a ticket to the event and because he had been seen talkiing to the "opposition" he was not allowed in, being told that it was a private event and they could exclude whoever they wanted to. There was also a group of black folks who were with us so this young man passed his ticket to one of the black guys, who removed all his campaign stuff and went in incognito, laughing saying that they'd never suspect a black guy. Will give you his report later.

Nobody would tell us what door Clinton would be entering by so we took a chance and hung out on one side of the building where they said the car would drive by. True to form, XXX42 was late by nearly an hour. But here is the great part. We were positioned between 2 entrances. One was a major side entrance. The other was a small, fenced-in service entrance by the garbage dumpsters. Well, guess which one he used. Think....which would be most appropriate. Yep, you guessed it. The snake slithered in through the garbage entrance. And he got a look at our signs. It was a classic moment in FReeperdom.

There was a whopping 500 people or so there for the "event". There were few enough people that there was a Jehovah's Witness convention going on in the building at the same time. When Clinton arrived the Jehovah's Witnesses started leaving. At that time we didn't realize that there was another event going on and Travelgirl and The Battman asked one of the cops on duty why everyone was leaving. He responded, "if Clinton entered a room, what would YOU do?" When the Jehovah's Witnesses left, the parking lot started clearing out.

Anyway, we may have to flesh in this post after we all get home because there is a lot to tell, but there is certain information that it is very important to get out there NOW! Back to our "spy". When he came out, he said they were running it like a church service, and the whole focus was on how the evil Republicans are trying to keep them from voting. They were saying that we have all the poll watchers this election to prevent THEM from voting. Now, here is the clencher. They were told that there would be attorneys posted at every precinct to prevent poll watchers from challenging ANY ballots. Now, mind you, one of our poll watchers has already had massive problems with them at the polls during early voting the past couple of weeks and has been advised to retain an attorney. They have had the sherriff remove her from the polls twice when she had done nothing inappropriate...only challenging ballots for improper or no ID. There is an all out campaign by these people to intimidate the poll watchers and then turn around and accuse us of voter intimidation. This is serious and at least one person has some legitimate fear. I can't really elaborate at this point. The reason we wanted to get this up right away is to get other FReepers on the case to get this publicized and contact appropriate media, political and legal sources to alert them that Republican poll watchers in this county are likely to be facing an organized, all-out Rat attack. Any help that FReepers can offer is needed!! Make phone calls, send letters. Whatever you can do. Post your ideas as well.

Sent off e-mails to both the Colorado GOP and New York GOP (just moved to New York from Colorado)....don't know if they'll take this alert seriously or not. I referred both back to FR and this thread (after posting links). That's the best I think I can do.

You keep saying that we as poll watchers cannot challenge. In the state of Arkansas THAT IS PART OF THE JOB. The rules that we have been given in our training regarding this issue has been posted 2 or 3 times on this thread. This is a legitimate issue. The democrats are accustomed to NOT being challenged becauuse Republicans have been poorly represented at the polls here in the past. We are finally doing our job and they don't like it. There is absolutely nothing illegal about what the poll watchers are doing, including challenging ballots. The disruption is occuring when the DEMOCRATS REFUSE TO ALLOW THE POLL WATCHERS TO DO THEIR JOB.

I will admit my unfamiliarity with the laws governing conduct in a poll. I am a trifle confused by your stance, however. If I, as a private citizen - being neither watcher nor observer nor polling official - notice while I am being processed to vote that other people are being allowed to vote without presenting bona fides of identity and permanent residence, EXACTLY WHY AM I NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE UMBRAGE AND REGISTER AN IMMEDIATE COMPLAINT???

I would think that I, as a citizen and voter, have a right to protect the potency of MY vote against dilution caused by voter fraud. The best, perhaps ONLY way to do so is by immediate complaint to the polling supervisor on the scene, right then and right there.

Please explain how this is not the case.

No I'm not. There is a difference between a poll watcher, a poll worker and a observer. The Poll Watcher has a certain criteria to follow just as a poll worker does.

When you as the poll watcher enters my precinct, you must present me with a letter from the candidate or group you are affilliated with and it must be signed by the Candidate or the head of the organization. You have a certain responsibility as a WATCHER. You may not interfer with the voting process or the poll workers, you may ask for figures but you are not allowed behind the desk/table where the workers are working and you are not allowed behind the voting machines.

The observer has none of these rights. They can't do anything. The Poll worker can give the observer the command to sit and don't move. the observer must do as he/she is told.

The Watcher is a different matter all together. The Watcher can ask for certain information, but that's it...
nothing more.

The Worker has the resposibility to verify the "potential voters" credentials. THEY MUST CONFIRM THAT THE PERSON STANDING THERE IS A REGISTERED VOTER in that precinct.

You should let the Supervising Official at the polling place know that someone is not doing his/her job.

If I, as voter, saw that the person in front of me was not being asked for the proper credentials, I would definitely ask why not. You cannot allow someone to vote just because someone else says "I know that person". They must have one of three legal ids to present to the worker, if none is given then the worker should then, get the poll supervisor to handle it from there.

Ok, so that is established. Now, then... If I was to sit around after voting as an "Observer" and saw the same thing, DO I OR DO I NOT retain the right to file such a complaint and demand IMMEDIATE corrective measures?

By contacting the election commission by telephone or presenting yourself in person and stating that you have observed improper proceedure at a polling place and filing a complaint there.

The observer cannot interfer with the voting process or speak with the voters, demand information from the workers or anyway disrupt the polling place. The observer has no rights to demand anything in the polling place.

At the polling places around the country you will find these people there:

Supervisor of the polling place.
Worker of the polling place.
Watcher (authorized person only)
Voter
Observer (no authority other than that of interested citizen)
Election Commission official (on and off throughout the day)

Thank you all so much for the pings and all the great information and attention you have brought to this thread. Just wanted to pass on that one of our group was in touch with the Republican headquarters and found that we will have our own lawyers in many of these places in positions of quiet observation making a point of not drawing attention to themselves. At least it is some consolation. I guees between now and tomorrow we need to keep getting the word out, show up to vote and PRAY!! The Rats may be able to cheat us but they CAN'T cheat God. We need not pray to win, but that the integrity of the election is maintained in spite of all the fraud they're commiting for their own self-interests.

I think you mis-understand the nature of the problem in Arkansas.

We have a certification process for poll watchers and a challenge process.

What is happening is that the poll workers, (democrats) are not letting the poll watchers challenge a vote as they should. They are not allowing the poll watchers to participate in the verification process and are having them removed at the first attempt to challenge.

The dems are now placing lawyers at polling sites to assist in the process of removing republican poll watchers from the polls so they cannot do their jobs.

This phenomenon is also occuring in other jurisdictions and is a Rat employed protective mechanism to ensure their fraudulent votes. There are already dozens of stories relating to 100s of people living at a bar, etc.

Thanks for the update and the ping. It is good to hear our lawyers are aware and in place. This morning I sent an email to friends everywhere alerting them about your discoveries. I asked them to be on the lookout for similar troublemakers and disruptions and if found to report them ASAP. I also called our Sec of State first thing today. They assured me that they were prepared for any and all possible challenges tomorrow, even from New Orleans. Agreed, we just need to pray that God's will be done tomorrow.

Prayer IS the answer. I watch all the polls, the predictions, but at the end I say, Lord, this is in your hands.
