As I recall, he also lost New Mexico because of a fair amount of vote fraud.

Best I recall, the large reservations reported in last. It took 'em a while to manufacture the proper number to put Al Snore over the top. I wonder what percentage of this victims coalition actually applaud these efforts by their handlers. Most???

After the 2000 election, I got the feeling that Zogby, a registered rat, gets a heads up on where massive voter fraud for the rats will be happening.

I have the same impression.

Other pollsters just count whom they poll. Zogby gets a heads-up on where there will be a lot of Democrat fraud and factors it in, so he probably is actually more accurate than many pollsters.

IMHO, the voter fraud will be huge in the areas which have these tight Senate races, and many will end up a cakewalk for the Dems, with them winnning by 5-10%.

Mexican aliens steaming into this country should feel right at home with our electoral processes. They have been living with the PRI for years and I'm sure they can identify with the Demonrat methodss!

As I understand it, these are Zogby's "push poll" numbers where he forces undecideds to make a choice. The fallacy with this sort of polling is that many of the undecideds may ultimately not vote at all.

Actually, his methodology is to THROW OUT the undecideds as being unlikely to vote in the "final" poll. He gave an in depth account of his reasoning in 1994.

He seems to get a heads up on the FRAUD, however.

Anyway, this Republican head will be wearing a hat on Tuesday and voting. Bottoms up!

Cheers. I hope you have a designated driver, because you'll be drowning your sorrows in booze when you see the returns from the Richardson-Sanchez race. Hopefully, the GOP congressional candidates will fare better.

The democrat M.O. is to hold the returns from their precincts until they see how many votes they need and then manufacture the necessary votes. It makes me sick that they get away with this. There is no real answer but I think pooll watchers make it more difficult for them to carry it off.

I believe that in Missouri, Talent will defeat the "widuh" Carnahan. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll pull it off in Kansas. We bounce back and forth with Governors, but haven't elected a RAT senator since the 30's.......

The RAT infested counties in Kansas also have the highest out-of wedlock numbers amongst blacks, and also have the most crime. Liveable neighborhoods become a real challenge

zogby poll is wrong its not a tie or the economy stupid

Paul Begala called his book "It is still the economy stupid" and now John Zogby appears and says the same thing. I wonder if Carville thought this plan up? Mind you this poll was taken before the Wellstone mess that the democrats did the other night.

The new zogby poll is out and John says its the economy that is on voters minds and that America is at a tie again.

I hate to shatter zogbys dream but from what I see the defense of this nation is number one and we are about to see a republican landslide next week in the 2002 election. Just like the profilers were way off with the sniper, so is Zogby with the 2002 election.

Here's hoping the good Sanchez(as opposed to the one in Texas) prevails. Why is it not an issue that Richardson, through negigence or worse, lost a bunch iof our sensitive missile technology to the Chicoms? Having lost much of our top secret technology to the Chinese communists, is he really the kind of guy New Mexico wants to put in charge.

Even if he makes it, though, hopefully there will be some consolation in the results in the rest of the country.

Cheers. I hope you have a designated driver, because you'll be drowning your sorrows in booze...

Reluctantly, I agree...the Republicans will be routed because the majority of the electorate is scared &^%$less about the ECONOMY!

Instead of "keep spending as usual" message after 9-11, he should have mobilized the electorate to take CPR and first aid classes, CLOSED THE BORDERS, and other actions congruent with the War on Terrorism.

Instead, his "business as usual" approach equated to "politics as usual", meaning

IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!!!

Played right into the hands of the DemocRATS!!

There is no real answer...

Respectfully disagree. Pubbies have got to become engaged in the cesspool precincts as watchers, workers, officials, or whatever capacity we can to keep an eye on the Dims. We know these lying BA$TARDS are cheating their A$$ES off, but are unwilling to get our hands dirty. Why our Pubbie leaders aren't somehow able to tie a knot in the Rat's tails is troubling. Our judicial system is not up to the challenge??? ...but I think pooll watchers make it more difficult for them to carry it off.

I don't know if you saw this post or not, but one of our own Freepers in Houston spent several hours at one of the cesspool precincts, and he stated that voter "assistance" by the poll workers hardly slowed down with him there. There are NO repercussions for this kind of activity. People need to go to the big house for this stuff!

Zogby designs his questions to elicit certain answers.......he is part of the DNC machine and his only purpose is to influence rather than reflect.

"FL Gov: McBride 42% Bush 57%"

This must be the Clinton/Gore effect. They are both in Fl now attacking Jeb.

And on Cornyn, he will win by double digits.

Dems have massive GOTV campaign in Texas. All the pundits on TV have this race close. Where do you get the double digits?

There really is no foolproof answer, but I believe that poll watchers can make a difference. Every one of them should have a camcorder, which will: a)deter misconduct; and b)provide evidence for an election challenge after the fact. If there had been such poll watchers in New Orleans during the 1996 Senate election, Senator Woody Jenkins(not Senator Mary Landrieu) would be running for reelection and Tom Daschle would still be the Minority Leader.

I thought I was going to toss my dinner last night when I saw Margaret Carlson call McBride a "terrific candidate!).

Perhaps she was comparing him to Janet Reno.

As for minority turnout, it's not there. Kirk is running as Republican-lite which is hardly inspiring. Sanchez hasn't energized the hispanic vote as planned; he's going down in flames.

How much time have you spent in minority neighborhoods lately?
