Statement of Chechen commander Shamil Basayev Posted on Saturday, November 02 @ 03:44:37 ICT on Voice Of Taliban
Auzu billahi mina sheytani rajim, Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim
Praise to Allah, the Lord of the worlds who have created us Muslims and blessed us with His Mercy Jihad in his straight path. Peace and Blessings to Muhammad, his family, his companions and to all those who follow him in straight path until the Dooms day.
Reconnaissance - diversionary detachment of shaheeds «Riyadus-Salihin» conducted a successful operation in the very den of the enemy, in its very heart, in the city of Moscow. The goal of the operation was an attempt to stop the war, to stop genocide of the Chechen people and in case of a failure to demonstrate to the whole world that the Russian leadership without hesitation and regret is capable of annihilating its own citizens in the center of Moscow in the most brutal way; to force all Russian nationalists to feel through their own experience (on their own skin) all the niceties of the war unleashed by Russia and force it back to where it belongs (where is has come from).
Although, regretfully, we have not achieved our main goal - cessation of the war and stopping of genocide of the Chechen people, we have achieved realization of the majority of the goals pursued by us, Insha Allah, and we praise God for the help and mercy He has been bestowing upon us. There were up to forty shaheeds involved in this operation who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of Faith, Honor, Freedom and independence of our Motherland. They have been rewarded by Allah and may Allah give us all the strength, courage, piousness to follow to the end in this path straight and with dignity. We admire their faith, courage, determination and May Allah let us also finish our life path with dignity in the path of Allah and in the name of Allah. Allah Akbar!
There is a good Russian proverb: what goes around - comes around. Glory to Allah, today we have managed to return the war to the place whence it has come. We have returned it into the den of the aggressor and we were amazed to have found out that it was not an aggressor, not a country in a war. It happened that they were innocent peaceful civilians who had gone to the theatre for a rest.
In this respect, a question involuntarily arises - and who are the three and a half thousand children under ten years old who have died in three years of this inhumane bloody butchery in Chechnya? Who are then over the four thousand children who have been crippled, left without legs, eyes, paralyzed? Who are those who have been turned full orphans in three years of the war? And there over 30 thousand of them. Who are 3500 people who have gone missing, who have been taken away from their homes or detained in streets and whose fate remains unknown until now? Who are the 200,000 of the killed women, elderly, sick, children and men? Who were they?
This military diversionary action has not only demonstrated slavish, animalistic indifference of the Russian population, but it has also displayed loathsome hypocrisy of the world community. The whole world was condemning the action for three days. The whole world was expressing condolences and sympathy with the Russian nationalists. Had they expressed the tenth part of that condemnation because of the innocent victims of the bloody carnage in Chechnya, the war would have ended and the events in Moscow would have never taken place.
Our shaheeds went to Moscow not to seek someone's support and not for some public opinion and not to cause someone's sympathy or commiseration. They went to Moscow to stop the war or to become shaheeds. They went with a slogan "Victory or Paradise" and they have acquired Paradise, Insha Allah!.
Next time the ones who will go will not be putting forward any demands, these ones will not be seizing anyone. These ones will just one main goal: annihilation of enemies and inflicting upon the enemy the maximum possible damage.
Insha Allah, sooner or later, whether they want it or not, both Russian people and Russian leadership will have to stop this bloody carnage. They will have to be forced to stop this war and come to peace and they will be forced to get out of our land. Sooner or later, we shall gain victory and until then, until one Russian soldier remains in Chechnya, this war will continue, but from now on it will continue both on the territory of Chechnya and on the territory of Russia, country - aggressor.
I request the President of Chechnya, Amir of the State Committee of Defense of Madjalis - Shura of CRI to accept my resignation from all duties and also I request him and my comrades in arms to forgive me for concealing the preparation and conduction of this military operation.
I also relieve myself of the powers of the Amir of the Madjalis of the Muslims of Ichkeria and Daghestan and the Amir of the Islamic International brigade as well as all other posts, apart from the Amir of the reconnaissance - diversionary battalion of shaheeds «Riyadus Salihin». Also, I relieve myself of all the duties apart from the duties towards the families of the shaheeds. I call upon all the mujahideen and the whole Chechen nation to stand even firmer behind the Chechen President Aslan Maskhadov and the leadership of the mujihadeen and I call upon all the shaheeds to join the ranks of the reconnaissance diversionary battalion of the shaheeds «Riyadus Salihin». There is one very good, and what is more important Chechen saying: only a war stops a war. And May Allah help us in that. The best of the two -
Victory or Pradise. Allah Akbar !!!

I have one of those. I keep in the same pocket with my anti-nazi bent. By the way, our American Bomber Pilots from WW2 would like to have their ears back. Remember? The Croats would often cut them off as trophies before selling our boys to the nazis.
I beg to differ. I knew one. If I have to choose who to believe, I think I'll go with the guy missing his ear. No offense.
It is true they supported anti-communists. I don't think for one second they would have supported the tactics used by the Croats and their Arab Jihadist friends. Are they Croats still allies with the islamonazi mercenaries, or have they changed sides since 9/11? (serious question, no sarcasm. I haven't kept up the last few years)
Let us agree that Clinton is evil, the mujahadeen are evil, and that Ronald Reagan was a great President. I think we are hijacking the topic of the thread, a process which I began with my initial statement to you. We should be bashing chechen murderers, which is something we can do together.
