From The Baltimore Sun interview with Charles Green, brother of Muhammad’s second wife:

Muhammad converted to Islam while he was in the Army, and was doctrinaire in some regards, Green said. He encouraged his wife to wear a veil and became upset when she got a short haircut, even though it made her look younger. He expressed a strong racial nationalism - he affectionately addressed Green as "black man" - disliked whites and spoke against those who didn't belong to the Nation of Islam, as he and his wife did, Green said.

Once, Green accompanied the couple to a mosque with another black man whose white wife was barred from entering. "I told [Muhammad] in the car that was b--- and he told me not to curse," Green recalled.

Liz Michael's theory of why Muhammad wanted to get caught makes sense.

She has an interesting theory, and one that is very plausible. One of the most mystifying things about the whole Muslim Sniper case is why they were trying so hard to be caught. It is clear that they did everything possible to get caught and to make it clear who they were and what their agenda was.

If they had just wanted to kill anonymously, they would have disappeared after the first round of shootings and then perhaps waited a few weeks, done another day's shooting in another city, and so on until someday they somehow really did get caught. But they practically turned themselves in, and the theory that they wanted their actions attributed so that they could serve as an "inspiration" to others is certainly pretty possible.

I have a friend at work who is quite sharp--he's a Unix sysadmin--who has a number of friends and relatives in law enforcement and the military. He has great respect for these institutions, but he shakes his head when he considers how incapable they are of attracting intelligent employees.

The dumb cop is OK for keeping order on the street, but that's about it.

All these fancy scientific test and forensics labs are only useful after you've caught the criminal.

I suspect the our highly intelligent, but somewhat sleazy, upper class, does not actually want any intelligent law officers, for fear that their own activities might come under scrutiny.

Just remember:

Nation of Islam = Black Muslims = Black Panthers = New Black Panthers = 5 Percenters = Nation of Islam.

They are all sects of the same Cult of hate, the Nation of Islam.

The one group not listed in this article is al Fuqra, the home grown farm team version of al Qaeda.

This article exemplifies one of the big problems in following any news story with massive media "coverage." You have to be very careful about attributing to any particular person or agency everything you "HEAR" that they are saying or doing.

Examples:
The article talks about "police profilers." I didn't hear a single "profile" from any official agency. Everything was either "consultants," who explicitly said they had no clue as to what police were actually thinking or looking at, or "sources," who told us, anonymously, what police were thinking. Neither is any evidence as to POLICE incompetence.

As to the "Illegal aliens." They were not stopped just becasue they were Hispanic. The police were staking out a phone booth (they may have been incompetent not to get there a couple of minutes earlier -- I dunno) -- and the aliens were the people who showed up to use the phone.

As to the lying witness at the Home Depot -- the cops did figure that out pretty quick -- based on the in-store cameras that showed the witness inside when he said he was outside. As to the White Van/Truck -- that's what a number of witnesses said they "saw in the vicinity" (maybe they did -- the shooters just weren't in it!), and you can imagine the conspiracy minded if the police had "hushed up" their stories.

On balance -- I think the cops did OK -- not great, because the shooters would not have been caught so soon if they had not scattereed some clues, but when they had the clues, LE got an ID and connecting evidence pretty quick. B- to B+ grade.

I would also add that it may have been in Muhammed's mind that he would get the death penalty and would then become a martyr for the cause. But, that shouldn't keep us from executing him.

Remember the motivation that Charles Manson had for going out and butchering two innocent groups of people neither he nor his disciples even knew?

-----------------------------

Manson didn't butcher anybody. A bunch of runamok kids under the leadership of Tex Watson went off and did it by themselves. They came back and one of the girls came to Manson ans said, "Guess what we did?" Manson's reply was, "You got me thrown in the jailhouse is what you did."

While certain Black Muslims may have rebuked this teaching, most notably Malcolm X (Malik Al Shabbazz), who was assassinated, probably by the Farrakhan faction, and while there are peaceful offshoots such as the group headed by the son of Elijah Muhammad, Warith Deen Mohammad, and while there are African-American Muslims who are followers of the more mainstream sects like the Sunnis, the Nation of Islam remains essentially an advocate of Black revolution. The NOI is estimated to have 200,000 members.

Split that nearly in half, and that would be a more accurate number.

The Black Muslims are heavily involved in what you might remember as a name from the 60's. The New Black Panther Party. The original Black Panther Party was a bit marxist in nature. The NEW Black Panther Party, however, is HEAVILY influenced by NOI activists.

A bit marxist? All of their underwear was the color red.

Moreover, what also needs to be remembered is that for every MEMBER of the Nation of Islam, there are probably three to four SYMPATHIZERS with them, not Muslims, not as disciplined, but definitely brothers. Moreover, Farrakhan is notorious for his alliances with black CHURCHES, and black MINISTERS, and has spoken before many black CHRISTIAN congregations.

True. There are quite a few "fellow travelers" around the NOI. But the author can't have it both ways. If sympathizers with the NOI don't actually belong to it, then they are not "definitely brothers." It's just like my collegiate fraternity days. Sure, we had "hangers-on," but they weren't "frats" usually because they lacked the GPA or did not have the intestinal fortitude to cross those blazing hot sands.

She rightly highlights the allegiances of so-called Christian ministers and Farrakhan. It's inexcusable. That's what I call bringing "strange fire" to your pulpit.

Think about how violent many Black neighborhoods are and how many of these young men have turned this violence upon one another. Then imagine the Crips and the Bloods and all the rest of the "gangstas" uniting to turn the gun on America.

Yeah, you can "imagine" it. But that's all it is when it comes down to street thugs. They are motivated by money, not some misguided political or religious cause. I'm not telling the reader what I heard. I'm telling the reader what I know.

The black people you see integrated into American society wanted to be integrated and accepted into it. The Nation of Islam, however, doesn't WANT integration. They are segregationists of the highest order. And to them, most of YOU are still "Devils".

No argument from me on this point. None at all.

The thing which makes NOI Muslims particularly dangerous is their discipline. They are probably the most disciplined black people in America, and among the most disciplined Muslims in the world. There is a security arm of NOI called the Fruit of Islam, which is one of the best trained militias in the country. Most of these people have been preparing for the day they GET to do what John Muhammad apparently HAS done. The training camp in Alabama frequently by many Black Muslims is reported to be linked to Al Qaeda.

This is worthy of paying attention. I don't have any proof one way or the other. It is, however, extremely plausible.

The remainder of the article is in the same vein. She raises very cogent points. But you'd be crazy to think that I don't find her tone "alarming." Either way, don't tread on me.

No mercy.
Coming soon: Tha SYNDICATE.

The FBI, the ATF, and all the county law enforcement didn't dig up Jimmy Jack Sugar to get this guy this quickly. It may have taken them YEARS to solve this crime if they ever solved it. It took them seventeen years to catch Ted Kaczynski.

Actually Law enforcement didn't catch Ted Kaczynski. He was turned in to the FBI by his brother David.

"One man – David Kaczynski – came to the sickening realization that the Manifesto’s writing style and philosophy closely matched that of his older brother Theodore (Ted) Kaczynski. David and his wife Linda were devastated by the thought that Ted could have spent 18 years terrorizing and killing so many innocent people. But the more they read, the more similarities they discovered."

I think this is the most important piece I have read on the DC sniper case, and I urge everyone to read it and bump it to friends.

That was the meaning of the "Duck In The Noose" parable: "white man, you think you have caught me, but we have caught YOU!"

Altho' the WHY is interesting, we don't know it yet any more than the profilers knew who the shooter was. It is speculation, SWAG speculation.

With the only certainty, what we do know is that We the People are both the future target and future defense of ourselves, families, and fellow Americans.

To that end, each of us, who is physically and emotionally able, should be armed. Armed with all weapons and tools as affirmed by our Constition. We and our babies are on the front line.

Handguns, concealed and elsewhere, shotguns and rifles - in our cars, places of work, and at home. Socialists' policies defining schools, churches, etc. to be gun-free easy kill zones is foolish and extremely dangerous.

Adequate ammunition for a protracted hot fire fight with multiple terrorists, 100+ rounds per weapon - with the weapons - hunting and full metal jacket.

Powered up cell phone.

Camera.

First aid - knowledge and supplies. As first responders, we must prepare to care for numerous gun shot, shrapnel, and crush injuries, and severe burns and shock victims of a bombing or rampage. It always takes a few minutes at a minimum for EMS to show on scene, and they in their big red vehicles and uniforms may become targets.

With rare exception, our police system is about crime historians. Since the '93 WTC and OKC bombings, we face unlawful combatants engaged in war crimes against our families. Uniformed cops may also become prime targets.

We the People are our only real defense in the first moments when it means the differnence between precious life and death for innocents. Some may ask why.

I think that the lesson taken from this article may be right. I makes as much sense as any other theory put forth.

There is one other lesson here that will brook no argument: One man, with a rifle, properly motivated, can hold an entire nation at bay. This guy managed to kill at will, and get away clean every time. The only evidence found was the evidence that he left on purpose.

The tactics of the sniper are virtually indefensible against in an open urban environment.

The ramifications vis a vis the 2nd amendment, are clear. The next time some anti-gunner tries to tell you that one man could not fight a tyrannical govt, remind them of this guy.

Just imagine where we would be if there were/are only a hundred of these types scattered in major cities of the US. Total chaos.

This sounds pretty logical to me. We, loyal non-socialist Americans, need to fight this evil now. I just don't know if we have the stomach for it.
