BTW, in case you don't remember, that theme is largely what George W. Bush ran on.............

Both Wellstone and Mondale are to the left of Coleman. I don't ever see Mondale being able to wear the "RINO" tag.
Ronald Reagan was a Democrat.

Ronald Reagan was a Democrat. And some of the legislation he signed attests to that.

Mondale was the one who said Reagan was too old (Reagan was same age Mondale is now), and made the same claims about one of his opponents running for the senate. He also said he was too old when he announced he wouldn't run again. So he's either a liar or he's too old.

And your point is? America should have re-elected Jimmy Carter? Or in the nomination in 1980 should have gone to George Bush or Bob Dole?
Better choices in some elections would be good but you've got to deal with the realities at hand.

And your point is? My point is that there isn't alot of difference between democrats and republicans. In fact under the worst President, Clinton, spending increased less in 8 years than it already has in 2 years under Bush.

Bush hasn't been president 2 years yet. That'll happen in 3 months. How long did he have a Republican congress? Who spends? How fiscally solvent was Clinton's economy? When the house of cards collapses it costs money to rebuild the damned thing.

How long did he have a Republican congress? Better yet...has he ever heard of a veto pen?

In other words, it won't make a difference if Coleman or Mondale is elected. I heard that Coleman is pro-life. If true, it would make a big difference to many voters.

If true, it would make a big difference to many voters. Legislatively?

Re: radio. Being a little on the downhill side Mondale probably forgot where the debate was abd showed up for Prairie Home Companion instead.

You don't think it makes a difference to the voters?
To: Demidog
Senators can support conservative judges. You stated there was no difference between Mondale and Coleman. That's not true. Coleman is pro-life, while Mondale is pro-abortion.
To: Honey West
Senators can support conservative judges. Alert me when this happens.

Senators can support whomever they wish. I didn't say they could change the Supreme Court decision. But you knew that.
Let me remind you of your original statement.
"In other words, it won't make a difference if Coleman or Mondale is elected."
Pure BS. Coleman is pro-life, one example, Mondale isn't. On any matter before the Senate regarding abortion, or abortion funding, Coleman would not vote the same as Mondale would. Are you saying they would?
To: Honey West
Coleman would not vote the same as Mondale would. We'll see. Bush said he was pro-constitution and a conservative. He has proven that he was lying several times over.
