Battle for the U.S. Senate 2002: My Predictions
Okay, I have decided to put on my pundit hat and set forth my predictions for the U.S. Senate races. I can assure you that all of my picks are correct as of today. Of course, the campaign is not yet over and my picks may change prior to election day.

"A full, statewide recount of all undervotes and overvotes could have erased Bush's 537-vote victory and put Gore ahead by a tiny margin ranging from 42 to 171 votes, depending on how valid votes are defined." Would you please get some medical help for your severe case of denial. You want to could overvotes and undervotes? You want to redefine what a valid vote is? Damn, I could have won Florida under those conditions.

There is only one way to stop election fraud right in it's tracks. Place National guard troops with loaded weapons at all voting places and require photo ID for all voters.

Article II, Section 1, second paragraph.
Everything after the certificaton of the votes was unconstitutional hogwash, including the SCOFLA decisions. That is why the United States Supreme Court unanimously(That means 9-0) and instantly vacated their rogue and illegal order.
The truth is, simply, there was no controversy in Florida 2000. The election was perfectly ordinary and legitimate.
It was merely close, and didn't turn out the way the criminals wanted. Everything which followed was the fight against a coup attempt by the criminal left, which failed, by the grace of God.

Here in WA State, no run for Gov or either Senator, little being spent, no initiatives to fire up the libs.... During the recount in 2000 for the Senate in which if Slade Gorton won reelection the Reps would control the Senate, there was hardly any coverage of the recount.
In fact the Seattle mayor's race got much more media coverage.
Ever wonder why?

AND GORE WOULD HAVE STILL LOST!!!!! GET OVER If Empress Harris believed that, she would have permitted a manual recount.

Gore did not want a State wide recount. Just 3 counties. What does that tell you....

The truth is, simply, there was no controversy in Florida 2000. The election was perfectly ordinary and legitimate. Almost every fair-minded person believes that most Florida voters wanted to vote for Gore than Bush, and for various reasons their votes were invalidated.

You pick Saxby in GA but not Thune in SD? I don't get it.

You pick Saxby in GA but not Thune in SD? I don't get itI think Cleland won in the first place largely out of sympathy. He's a nice man who lost his limbs fighting for his country. But is that a reason to re-elect him when he's so far out of touch with the electorate? I don't think so, which leads me to conclude Saxby will win.
On the other hand, Johnson is very much in touch with the S. Dakota electorate... they won't pork barrel projects and farm subsidies, and they'll get plenty of it if Johnson's buddy Daschle remains Majority Leader.

That whole deal seemed extremely fishy, Gordon losing as ballots were counted behind closed doors.

Yet no one seemed too interested in the election.
Hmmm....

So if you total everything up, the Republicans will pick up one seat. Thanks Ambrose, I hope we do better than that. :-)
To: Tuco-bad
Gore should have asked for a STATEWIDE manual recount, which would have been fair for both sides. I think I'd have been okay with that. It was a very close election (thanks to the early network calls).
Late note: I am detecting some late breaking trends which may well alter the outcome of many of my predictions. I will try and post my new altered predictions before going to sleep...
