President Bush hit the road again today to support Republican candidates in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. First Lady Laura Bush also traveled the campaign trail by stumping in North Carolina and Georgia. The First Couple will continue traveling this weekend, heading to Florida and Minnesota this weekend. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I'm waiting for Miss Teen McLynnan to get home from the football game and festivities.

Mr Baseball Boy came in at midnight. He was working, so the curfew of 11 is lifted when he is working. But he did bring in 2 of his buds to spend the night. The Homerun Derby (for our Fall Baseball League) is tomorrow. This house shrinks exponentially when they are here. Girls don't seem to take up much room LOL

Every doser should have a handout of ALL the dosers email addys, pics, well wishes, prayers, etc. to hand to the President when they see him. Then we wouldn't feel so left out.

LOL, I've noticed when boys visit here they do seem to suck up all the space. I don't have a son so this was a big revelation to me. Oh, and they eat a lot too!

It's nice to see that when Pubbies have political rallys , it isn't at someone's funeral memorial!

The first picture is priceless. The cliche' of the politican kissing the babies looks good on President Bush, and natural.

Yeah, they do eat a LOT. Hint. Just keep lots of boxes of cereal around. For some reason they LOVE cereal. Especially junkie cereals. I remember this from my 3 brothers, and my husband says it was the same in his house. Another "Guy thing"?? LOL

AARGH! Just got home from daughter's joint boy/girl 16 year old party (with a friend from church) at midnight!

I'm sitting here laughing at your sewing posts. I sewed all of my own clothes when I was in high school. One day, one of the hems in my skirt came undone. I was in a rush and just used masking tape to hold it together until I could resew it. Only I forgot, and washed the skirt and dried it in the dryer. Ruined that skirt.

It's not raining here at my house, it's just overcast and damp, high humidity. We've had rain during the past 2 weeks but it hasn't been constant. We even had 3 beautiful fall days with bright sunshine. We're supposed to have this constant yuk for about 3 or 4 days I understand.

OH my Gawd !!! That is so funny. That is exactly what it smells like.!!! At least it smells like that until they shower and then load up of the men's cologne. Then they smell like..umm. well they smell like Ladies of the Night Escorts.!!!! I can't decide which is worse. LOL

I can't wait til tomorrow, when a whole bunch of the sweaty guys will come back here after the game !!! At least I have them trained to take off their shoes right at the door. (those horrible sneakers with the 3 inch tread on the bottom that suck up every thing they walk on)

Rintense, thank you for tonight's Dose. Laura looks beautiful in red. This dress is a beautiful color.

She was drop dead gorgeous. I met her tonight. She gave me a hug and I told her how much we loved and appreciated her and the president and that we were all praying for them. She was soooo nice and thanked me. She has the warmest smile and is more beautiful in person that on TV. I had a pic made with her but since it was taken at a photo op, I won't get it for 2 or 3 weeks.

One of the guys was going to use my camcorder and record my time with her, but just as it was my time to have the pic made, they took the camcorder away. In fact, they took EVERYTHING from my hands--even my name tag. They made us put our purses and coats on a table and as soon as we did that, some guy picked them up and moved them across the room; then we had to search thru stacks of purses and coats to find our things.

I do hope that everyone gets a chance to meet this lovely lady one day. If she or the President comes within driving distance of you, please take the day off and go see them. You definitely won't regret it.
