It don't look good when a senatorial candidate misses his own debate. Pathetic.

It makes me sick to my stomach that Fritzo thinks he's too good to debate...

Has he mentioned that Fritz is a COWARD for no showing up, and how it's just the latest in a long like of RATS taking the voters of Minnesota for granted?

I do notice that the three candidates there are actually having a civilized, friendly debate, since there's no RATS around to intentionally throw bombs.

Mondale can't take the stress. The Dems. are probably praying he doesn't kick the bucket before the election.

They can't bring Mondale out. He has no idea what's going on- seriously. He NEEDS a script written for him. His answer to every question is "I vote the same way Paul Welstone did."
He can't speak, either. It takes five minutes to say one word.
He seems really, really old.
I don't think he could make it another 6 years unless he takes it easy.
Democrats are going to hide him, and count on the sympathy vote. They can't take the chance of getting him out too much.
He's just a pawn. If he makes it through this election, I'll bet on Arkansaside within the year.

Walter's senility has kicked in again and he is in the beauty shop next door to the studio sitting under a hair dryer wondering why so many women are in the debate.

Rewind to 1984. There were two presidential debates that year between President Reagan and Walter Mondale, the former Vice President under Jimmy Carter.

Mondale had done reasonably well in the first debate on Oct. 7 and was looking forward to gaining ground in the second one on Oct. 22. He wanted to exploit the age issue. President Reagan was 73 years old when he ran for a second term. Would Mondale be able to score points?

In one of the great moments in presidential debate history, Reagan stole the issue from Mondale when he looked at the audience and the other candidate and jokingly promised not to "…exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience." The issue was taken away and would never return. The voters recognized Reagan as witty, confident, and presidential. Fritz was shown for that ass that he is.

Election results:

Reagan (R) - Electoral Votes: 525

Mondale (D) - Electoral Votes: 13

There's one and only one reason that Ol' Fritz won't debate:

So Mondale will debate on election eve? Yah, sure he will. He'll be snowed in at some remote Minnesota airport that evening even if the temperature is 78 and holding.

I think the fact that the moderator is having to READ Mondull's position on topics is looking REALLY bad for the Dems.
