"Campaign" Carl Cameron just reported on Fox News that although many were nauseated by the funerally, his perception is that it is now a rallying cry for the dems.

When "Campaign" Carl speaks, I listen - he is NEVER wrong. Hope this will be a first.

I think I heard they boooed the govenor, but at the time it didn't come to my mind who the govenor was. I do know they booooed the ex- majority leader, of the senate, Trent Lott.

I lived in L.A. back in the early 70's when Tolas and Blassie were in their heyday. (I was around 10 yrs. old at the time). "The Golden Greek" spent a lot of time sunbathing at Santa Monica beach, and my buddies and I (at summer day camp) used to go up and chat with him sometimes. Contrary to his image, he was a real nice gent.

FWIW and I know it isn't very much but my dad died last year with no fanfare but if there was a memorial held for him I personally would tried to confront every single one of the &%$*&%&$ who booed anyone coming to my dad's service and sent their sorry asses on their way.......

Mark Dayton is the other Democratic senator here. I heard about his comments on the local talk radio station here. Being as we all know how Jesse is, I highly doubt he will listen to another Democratic senator!

Mark Dayton is Minnesota's other far left Democrat Senator.
A good choice from Ventura's own party would be State Sen.
Bob Lessard from International Falls. He was a Democrat
state senator until 2 years ago. He had endorsed the
Republican candidates in statewide elections in recent
years. Then 2 years ago he ran for reelection as an
independent and won. After the election he joined Ventura's
party. This year he didn't run for reelection so he is
done in the State Senate now anyway.
