A good shot she could lose. That runoff could decide balance of power and Racicot has said if that is the case the GOP will pour between $30-$40 million in there in a month.

Also, LA is a Bush state, and the whole focus of the campaign run-off could be the national implications, which would favor the GOP

Good heavens. Combine that with the money the Democrats are likely to put in and you could almost buy everybody in the state a new car.

If Racicot himself had run instead of wasting his time at the RNC, we would be looking at a Chafee-free majority in the bag. Perhaps he has a "hairdresser" past also?

She won it last time in Nawlins, so how can the Pubs counteract that advantage in a Dem controlled city that takes no back seats to Chicago style politics??
