Rush: Minnesota is now a dead heat again
Rush Limbaugh

Rush has just reported on his show that internal Republican polling now shows Minnesota to be a statistical dead heat once again, Mondale having dropped 7 points. He cites the Democrat funerally (my borrowed term from another talk show) for Wellstone as one reason, particular among independent voters who were turned off by the tone of the event and Ventura's walking out.

We should be skeptical, but hopeful.
Reports of the tremendous crowds at Coleman rallies...even yesterday, 2 days after the whole fiasco with the memorial....indicate he may have a shot at this thing.

Some of the internals mesh well with real polls. You are right to label some of the polls as having fluff though....but I don't think all of them.

The powers that be in the Dem party might need another funeral/rally to get the Dems back up in the polls in MN! Aviacide?

Zogby just said on Hannity that the race is close.
(I also was amazed to hear him admit he is a Democrat)

I live in Minnesota. I would be very interested in hearing what you are picking up from people about that rally.
I used to have family in Minnesota, I know they are very decent people,
I am sure many must have been revolted by the spectacle, Democrats included.

Is Chris seeing the light again?IMHO, Matthews is an old-style liberal Demoncrat who really believes in all that socialistic nonsense. He is disgusted at the sleaze in the Demoncrat party, but probably has convinced himself that they will put in the right policies even though they are sleazy. So he attacks the Demoncrats when they get too sleazy and he feels they are in no real danger of losing.

Zogby just read on Hannity that the race is close. Remember that in the last presidential election, Al Gore did not carry his own home state, county, or voting precinct.
And wouldn't it be ironic if they lost by one vote...with Wellstone being a little too obvious to cast his ballot postmortem.

After watching the polls for the last 6 years, you are amazed???????? Zogby has long been known as a gun for hire by the DNC. After he got his "reputation" in that one election, he was easy for the Dems to use as a tool for their party.
To: Nuke'm Glowing
Yes I know that,
what amazed me was that he admitted he was a Democrat.

LOL, I wasn't amazed. The entire Zogby family has been on the DNC/PLO dole for over a decade.

Clinton's coming to S. Florida to try to save dem guv candidate McBribe.
He can't be saved but at least Bubba will like the night life on South Beach.
I come up with some wacky ideas sometime but what if part of their plan was to force Mondale to run because Bubba has "information" about daughter Eleanor that would be better kept private? Bubba is the king of blackmail. He loves to run the show.

She won it last time in Nawlins, so how can the Pubs counteract that advantage in a Dem controlled city that takes no back seats to Chicago style politics??
To: McGruff
Does this look like a crowd mourning the death of a husband, his wife and their daughter that lost their lives in such a sad accident? I am not a democrat supporter but had I been there I would have been praying for their souls and remembering with respect and dignity this family that lost their lives so tragically. Color me old fashioned but...this is one sick photo!

Rush also mentioned a "Bush bump" where ever he goes supporting candidates. Right. I heard the 'pub gets a 2-5 point bump that lasts for up to a week. Very consistently, wherever GW visits.
To: McGruff
Yeah baby, I heard that. Tuesday nights fiasco may have cost the RATs a senate seat. Wouldn't that be poetic justice for the amoral dims.
To: habs4ever
If Bush is going to be there this weekend, will Clinton be far behind?? Well, I certainly would not want Clinton close behind!
To: Nogbad
Also heard Zogby tell Sean not to tell NJ voters to get out to vote for Forrester. Sheesh, I despise that man. No doubt he's counting on fraud to get 'his' guys elected.
