Hard to fight this because so many Republicans are in vehement DENIAL about it. I have several good-hearted and well-meaning Republican friends who swear up and down that of course NONE of this stuff goes on in THEIR state, in THEIR town, in THEIR precinct. Forida? Yes. MY state, town or precinct? NO WAY.

You're right on Cookie. I've had the same problem with Republicans. They think that everyone is honest and decent, just like they. That's why Republicans are called Polite Wimps.
