I disagree. These folks know history, and they realize that mass murder "ain't" gonna work.
Third Way is the only way for them. You'll always have folks who produce if you don't make them slaves. It's in their nature. Europe is an example. "Soft Communism" is the wave of the future, dude! No death camps, 12 weeks of vacation a year, and societal/technical stagnation. WOO HOO!
And it will fail. And when it does, they're going to need a scapegoat. I don't violent retaliation inside perhaps 30 years - one and a half generations - because it's going to need more of them and fewer of us for it to work, but the economic system they're planning will fail. We need to plan for afterward, because I'm not sure it can be stopped.
