This case may become critical in the final days. Absentee ballots in Minnesota favor Republicans, and it is possible that the absentee ballots already voted may be tossed.

Here we go again My thoughts exactly. :-)
I actually hold out a bit of hope for this one...the AG and Secretary of State both have stated their opposition to any monkeying around with the absentee ballots, and their arguments may carry the day.
Unless the Machine got to them before this morning.

It seems as though Colemans votes wouldn't change. He's still here, and the absentee ballots say "Coelman." How much simpilar can it get? (unless Minna-soooooooda has a liberal activist court who throws them out because they'll hurt Mondales feelings).

I saw Mondale speak on FOX this morning. He CANNOT speak well. Incomplete words, he looses his train of thought. Coleman needs to get him out into a debate. All he did was follow the Dems talking point list.
"I will.....(think)... protect the.....(think).... environment....(think).... and.....(think)... a womans right...(think).... to....(think).... choose."
"We need...(think).... to....(think).... fight terrorism ...(think)....and do....(think)... something...(think).... about the....(think)... economy."

Thanks. Found the link You bet. I've been listening to the show for a bit before the hearing; the host sounds like the object of Saturday Night Live's "public radio" satire. :-)

I predict that ALL absentee votes for Coleman will be tossed out, and that ALL Wellstone votes will count for Mondull

Is the issue about counting Wellstone votes as Mondale votes still on the table? If it is, and the court rules to allow this, I will be outraged. That's putting it mildly.
To: TonyInOhio
This ought to be interesting. The law speaks to this issue. The absentee ballots for Wellstone are NOT to be counted.
One of the Judges, Alan Page, wanted to be named the candidate to replace Wellstone, but was considered unacceptable due to this race.
Let's see if the man is ready to leave the democrat plantation.

Local channel 5 has a debate scheduled for Friday evening. They say that if Wally-Fitz doesn't show Coleman goes on next to an empty chair and has the whole hour.

Just tell Mondale that there's a taxpayer down in Hawaii who still has some of his own hard-earned money. He'll get distracted trying to track the guy down, and will miss the debate.

Who has the makeup of the Minnesota Supreme Court handy? Why do I get the feeling that it's a clone of the Floriduh Supreme Idiots and Jersey Supreme Idiots?

OK, we're underway.

Sounds like 'Rat lawyer up first.
This does feel like New Jersey.

Just tell Mondale that there's a taxpayer down in Hawaii who still has some of his own hard-earned money. He'll get distracted trying to track the guy down, and will miss the debate. During the VP Mondale Regime, there was tripple digit inflation and intrest rates. He suggested raising taxes to correct it. If he feels the Bush economy is an issue, will he, AGAIN, suggest a tax increase to fix it?
