she's in a statistical dead heat with McVey ... she's just honked off because this will be the first time she ever had to work since assuming the downtown throne

Carson said. "I don't think I have ever in my life seen the political decay, the lowest common denominator..."

She's in the wrong political party then if she dislikes associations with the lowest common denominator. The Democratic Party caters to the LCD of Americans, intelligence wise.

She will keep looking at how much Gore carried the district even as redrawn, and hope for the best. She is still the favorite. Not too many Gore voters are going to change their vote to the GOP, absent compelling circumstances. The GOP is riding high in House races, because in most places, they don't need Gore votes to win (outside the Northeast in a few places, and there the Gore totals were bloated), and where they do, they have very strong incumbents.

LOL, most of her 'work' will include manufacturing votes. We REALLY need to make sure that there is a GOP presence in EVERY precinct in Marion County this Tuesday. Is anyone organizing that effort?

The Indy Star reported today that the county clerk's office has received a rash of suspicious applications for absentee votes from Center Township. This is the heart of Carson's strength. She used to be the trustee for the township. If McVey is going to win he will have to win by a least 10% of the real vote to make up for the "basement" votes coming out of Carson's headquarters. Look for 110% voter turnout in some of these precincts, and expect them to be the last to report. Afterall we need to know how many extra votes we need. As Mr. McAuliffe said, "whatever it takes!"
