***Lautenberg Gives Un-electable Performance In Debate: Clearly Unfit For Office***
Stardate: 0210.30

It's clear why the democrats didn't want The laut to be seen in a debate with a living person.....he was completely un-electable....
It is no longer a question of democrat or republican, it's a question of ability to serve...
I love seniors as a rule, but it was clear tonight that Frank is no longer competent.
Without this debate performance, the democrats could have elected a cardboard cut out of an old senator, and then get someone to serve out the term, but after tonight's debate, it's clear that this man is actually not competent to serve in office.
Forrester is now the only real person running that could actually do the job, unless you want the lib.....
I knew that the laut was old, but there are many old folks who are competent....this poor man is not.
Get out now Mr. lautenberg, before you lose your self esteem

A lot of dead voters on the rolls in N.J. I bet they all vote for the dead man walking.

When will it be re-aired.
I just caught the last 15 minutes. I was amazed at just how incompetent Lautenberg appeared. Forrester clearly is the better choice for NJ....just hope that many people saw it.
Any polls or comments on it yet?
To: The Wizard
So what if he's incompetent? He's got plenty of Demo friends in the senate who can tell him how to vote. It's not a difficult job...if Bush is for it, then you vote against it. Can we expect Clinton to show up for a get out the vote rally? Or does he only do funerals?

I'm watching it right now on C-Span.

Doug Forrester's opening on the rebroadcast...
"I entered this race nine months ago with a promise to retire Bob Torricelli. I've kept that promise."
Dooooh!
To: The Wizard
I hope you are right

I saw the debate and agree. Lautenberg STUNK! Go, GOP! For victory & freedom!!!
To: Saundra Duffy
All of Lautenberg's opening statement was an attack on Forrester! Geesh! Here he goes again! Is Forrester all he can talk about??
To: Saundra Duffy
I saw the last 10 minutes of the debate -live. It was pathetic.
I'm watching the repeat right now.
Laut is definitely not up to the job.

Why does Forrester always look like his brow is furrowed? Maybe he should order a little Botox??
To: The Wizard
Are you serious? or is this your biased impression?

Why the heck doesn't anybody have the ability to simply answer the questions asked of them? What a motley crew of candidates.
To: The Wizard
He might be unelectable, but he is god compared to the other nincompoops on that stage(Forrester excepted).
Lautenberg is a nasty old son of a bitch who will not stop lying.
I'm watching the debate for the first time, but I hope Forrester brings up the fossils INCREDIBLY LIBERAL voting record, and calls him a LIBERAL not one, but several times.
If he fails to do so, he doesn't know what he is doing.

"This IS New Jersey.....where corruption has ruled for at least the past 30 years... Dems by a landslide...."Let's face it -- the Dems could run an inmate from Rahway State prison for Senator from his cell-block, and pundits would still call the election, "too close to call..."
Optimisticly, the average IQ of the populace is low double-digits.

Wiz, the first time I heard "the lout" speak was on Rush Limbaugh and I thought at first he was allowing a caller to speak who had a speach impediment. When he said who it was and that it was a soundbite from the campaign trail, I could not believe it! The man could not put two sentences together that made sense...but would rattle out slogans with gusto...THOSE he can remember, apparently, but to speak normally? No, he's got some mental problems, alright. And I speak as one who has had closer personal contact with dementia patients. He's impaired. I think the Dems hope to get him in office, then retire him early, installing someone of their choice in the slot.
