I will say what I always say when a person behaves strangely after suffering a tremendous loss. He is in shock. That is not to excuse his behavior merely to explain it. Unless of course, *he* is the one who put the sugar in the gas tank.

a cursed generation if I ever saw one.
With all due respect to the dead, but I understand why GOD would remove such scum from off the face of the earth.
It really boggles my mind how instead of grieving their son now used the funeral to set the stage for a political rally. It reminds me of that character in the old James Bond movie 'A View To A Kill' who was the offspring of genetic experiments and was so power hungry and killed without remorse or feeling.
Is it possible that he set it up?? hmmmm.....

I just have one question...
Who is "WE" ??? Their father died, he cannot win reelection. Who is the "WE" that they refer to ???
(Yes, I know they refer to Mondull, but geez... )

I didn't see this, but I heard the audio on Rush's program, and it scared the hell out of me. These people are scary. Really, truly, frightening.

If my information is correct, this "kid" is at least 30 years old. No, under 30 or else they would have been considered as their dad's successor. Several places mentioned that this week.

"What an ass."
What a relief, I thought that was his face.

Perhaps this
pivotal point in the 2002 election champagin should be refered to as the:
Wellstone Halloween Rally
To: TeleStraightShooter
One day it will be looked back on with the title:
Triumph Of The DNC Will

Remember how you reacted when your dad died?

Who is the "WE" that they refer to ??? (Yes, I know they refer to Mondull, but geez... )Maybe not der Fritz, possibly Satan?
To: karlamayne
There were "mourners" who BOOED at references to some of the Republican mourners who were present (e.g. Trent Lott).
If you aren't going to treat your mourners with respect, best you turn them away at the door as they did with the sitting VP. Can you think of the stink if they had waited for him to arrive before saying, "You aren't welcome here"?

I have no problems with critisims of the rants by our (s)elected democratic rulers. All I'm saying is that a son deserves to mourn his father as he pleases.
Poor taste does not excuse poor taste.

Separated At Birth????
To: karlamayne
Sorry, but when a dead politician's colleagues (of any party) turn his memorial service into a openly partisan get-out-the-vote rally, I consider that to be ghoulish. When his sons do not object to such ghoulishness, and not only support it, but participate in it, they are just as much ghouls as the others involved in it.

I think this guy has been convinced that the GOP killed his parents. It makes his actions a lot easier to understand, and I have no doubt the dems would say ANYTHING to get his cooperation.

You have to feel sympathy for this kid, holy cow he's just lost BOTH his parents. This "kid" is an assistant wrestling coach, and he's been out of high school since 1991. I think that makes him 30ish, and I think it probably now makes him a millionaire.
