Did physists just mathematicall prove the existence of God?

After all, we are hardly likely to discover laws that are incompatible with our own existence.

That's pretty much how I see it. If our existence were somehow demonstrated to be inconsistent with the universe, then that would be evidence of a miracle. Consistency seems natural, not miraculous. You can't have it both ways.

Yes, I watched that NOVA with great interest. Galilleo was a genius of the first order, I plan on reading his "dialogue" as soon as time is available.

Is Energy the Key?
