Stolen were a .40-caliber pistol and two clips of ammunition; at least five INS stamps, including an admission stamp and another that allows refugees to enter the United States to apply for resident alien status; an INS badge; a laptop computer; and an assortment of official forms. Richard Reid tidbits:

Articles note him as "shoe bomber" No. 2 (Flight 587 was "shoe bomber" No. 1.

Richard Reid was born in London. His mother was a white English woman. His father was Jamaican. (Bingo!)

His father was in and out of jail. The kid eventually wound up at Brixton Mosque which was run by Black British converts. Moussaoui was connected to the same Mosque and is presently in Alexandria, Virginia (and read the sniper scenario with a smile, I'm sure). (Bingo!)

If I remember correctly, Reid's flight was destined for Miami but at some point I read that he told the "Visa inspector folks", that his eventual destination was the islands (to see relatives???). I'll have to find that article because it is perhaps important.

One more thing, they finally stopped Moussaoui statements from going to the press, feeling that he was sending a message (Said some real crazy, nonsense stuff). Kinda like "a duck in a noose" etc..
