[history]
A federal judge ordered the release Monday of documents from a decade-old fraud and racketeering case in which a convicted felon implicated Gov. Gray Davis in a bribery scheme.
The release comes a week before voters go to the polls to choose between Davis and Republican Bill Simon, who's made attacks on the governor's fund-raising practices a centerpiece of his campaign.

"These are baseless charges made by a man who is a convicted felon, admitted perjurer ... Yet Davis hid Gary Condit from the press.

California really needs a Simon victory. California needs anyone but Davis.

Great timing! Somehow I'm guessing this didn't make the front page.

Shades of the huge corruption and bribery scandal in Sacramento in the late 80's that Willie Brown wiggled out of. I think it's Clay Jackson who is serving time on that one.

Retire the Liar!
Click here to download the California Republican Liberty Caucus' tri-fold pamphlet on the governor's race!
It's a .pdf file, so you'll need Acrobat Reader... it's free, and chances are good you already have it on your computer. Try the link and see.
Print it using the printer-icon button in the Acrobat toolbar in your browser (not File|Print in your browser's menu). It's intended for double-sided printing using single pieces of paper-- no stapling needed if you do it that way, and saves trees! ;-) Print one side, then invert the paper and feed it through a second time for the second side. Fold, and sally forth to get out the vote!
Give this to friends, walk your neighborhood, take it to stores, give a wad of 'em to your school, hand some out at your house of worship, at clubs, at stores and small businesses...
Let's retire Gray Davis!
Let's show the media and RINOs that "It's the base, stupid!"
Let's show Gray Davis that money can't buy him love ...or re-election!
Freepers and RLC activists can claim considerable credit for nominating Bill Simon, so now let's elect him!

Interesting that the Davis campaign didn't have a problem with the convicted drug dealer in the Simon lawsuit but when it comes to convicted felons pointing the finger at them "oh noooooooooo can't take the word of a convicted felon"...these Dems are so transparent is pathetic!</i. Wonder if the press will comment on that fact ... NOT!
DUMP DAVIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Davis was worried about the contents of Nathanson's letters, ... Davis attorneys sent [a letter] to all major television stations in California last week warning them not to run any Simon ad based on Nathanson's allegations. Ha ha! Davis, you lose!
The intimidation tactics are so obvious. Will the TV news stations report the intimidation along with the documents?

He was forced to retract the claim when the photo he was using as evidence turned out to have been taken at a private home in Santa Monica. Hmmm...any PUBLIC homes in Kalifornia? Inquiring minds want to know.

"Now let's see if the print and television media run with the story."Not only that... Didn't I just see a thread on the Davis campaign cutting back on the negative ads? YES!!! I did!!!
But today they have PULLED ALL THE STOPS ON NEGATIVE ADS, so that idea didn't even last ONE LOUSY WEEK!!!
Save us from Davis! Simonize California and Clean Out The CRAPITOL!!!
FLEX YOUR POWER... PULL THE PLUG ON THE THUG! (Dim Bulb Davis)

But today they have PULLED ALL THE STOPS ON NEGATIVE ADS, so that idea didn't even last ONE LOUSY WEEK!!! It's all they have. Davis can't run on his record, so he has to rely on smear tactics to get re elected. I'm looking forward to the feeding frenzy after those letters are published :)
To: kellynla
That's a good point! Davis was all over the TV yelling about the convicted felon's charges against Simon - but the convicted felon's charges against Davis are not vallid. Typical - double standard as usual.

"I'm looking forward to the feeding frenzy after those letters are published :)"I really wonder if even the undecideds will care. After all, even they already knew he was crooked as a dog's hind leg!!!

I am going to lay this one on my Dentist tomorrow and get him off the Fence!
He said Experience Counts and Simon has none.
I said, why would you want an experienced CROOK.
He got real quiet after that!
