The rebel leader's body was shown strewn on the floor littered with ammunition and rubbish, a bottle of cognac from the theatre's bar planted neatly in his hand. Russian media claimed he was an drunkard, like all his family. His men were high on drugs and women smelled of alcohol, a hostage told journalists.

What makes them so sure the cognac was planted ? The place was in chaos, I doubt anyone was that observant in the midst of the crisis. Isn't this same "rebel leader" terrorist reputed to be more of a mercenary rather than a true believer ?

Take note the bottle of booze appears to be full, and it is upright, very suspectly so. However, if the liquor and needles were planted that's ok with me. Folks here have ot remember there are no liberals and whiners in Spetnaz, just guys trained to the nines to do the job. A little military special forces inventive license is allowed. We really don't need any extra incentives to find these animals disgusting and contemptable. But they don't know that!
