It phone booth scenario was such a stupid, live takedown, that I'm inclined to believe that it was an tactical FBI/CIA setup..
The two guys were hired by US, the white vehicle was supplied by us.. and the two men and vehicle were swooped away never to be seen again.
As far as I know, their names or faces were never published.
What did it do...make the terrorists play a different card.
That is an interesting take on it...and you could be correct, since I have heard no more about it. It does concern me that for the VERY FIRST TIME they immediately arrest and arrange for deportation, quite unusual.
