Rita Cosby interviewed Montgomery, AL Mayor Bobby Bright and Police Chief John Wilson. Wilson told Cosby he was very concerned because both Muhammed and Malvo were on foot, being chased by police officers. The chase was interrupted by a large blue car that Muhammed ran into, putting both hands on the hood to prevent him coliding with it. After this moment, both men being chase escaped. Later--still in September, Montgomery police put out a public call for the driver of the blue car to come forward; fingerprints on the car could be used to break the case. However, and a little surprisingly, no one came forward.
Now Chief Wilson is concerned about the car. It was going through a fast food drive thru when the foot chase began. Wilson explained that BOTH Mohammed and Malvo were, at that moment, being persued on foot. Then the blue car came directly at Muhammed, nearly hitting him. Shortly after, the foot chase ends with the escape of Muhammed and Malvo. Wilson is concerned the car is in fact the blue 1990 cheverolet that Muhhamed and Malvo were using in Washington. He then stated he is concerned that if this is the case, then who was driving this car on September 21st, while Muhammed and Malvo were being chased on foot by Montgomery, Alabama policemen?

It's probably the same handgun Muhammad had in the car when he was arrested.
A third person might solve the question of why Muhammad and Malvo were in Alabama on 9/21. They haven't linked it with evidence yet, but the shooting outside the liquor store in Montgomery County on 9/14 was the same MO -- if so, it's strange that he went to MD, drove to Alabama, then returned to MD. Maybe he and Malvo were peeved that they didn't get much attention from the media for the first two shootings -- and there may have been others, between 9/14 and 9/21, and 9/21 and 10/2, that nobody has linked yet.
I guess if they took place in Camden, it would just be another day in the hood.
I heard earlier today on one of the news shows that a handgun was also found in the car.
Malvo
The Montgomery, Alabama police chief was just on Fox News and said that there were three people at the liquor store robbery in Alabama.
The shooter there used a weapon other that the .223 rifle and he hinted that it may have been found in the car or elsewhere.
He said that Malvo and Mohammad were out of the car and that someone else was driving during the robbery, Nathinal Osborne?
They didn't realize that the 'blue' car was involved in the robbery and thought the person must have been a witness but, could not understand why the witness did not come forward even after they offered a reward. They understand now that the blue car and the driver were involved in the robbery.
I'm impressed with this police chief.
I expect more suprises in this case.
Thanks. Saw it the first time. (went to bed, couldn't sleep and got back up)
Have to agree with you there
What was the date.
I do expect them to be tied to other killings....and probably as early as tomorrow. I think the boys have been working this case intensely all W/E. Note that Farrakan jumped out early with his announcement, which means that he has probably already had 'several' visits.
I'm impressed with this police chief. I expect more surprises in this case.
Chief Wilson appears to be 180 degrees from the Political Correct Chiefs in the DC area, who were more concerned about stopping all of the 100,000 white suspect vehicles in the DC area and of course using riot guns to put every scared white driver on the cold pavement during the process.
Chief Wilson wants to nail the bastards who killed the poor lady in Montgomery, Al..
Yup. Looks like he had done his homework and had his duck all in a line.
