Exactly.
Want more daylight in the evening? Leave the clocks that way.
Better yet, move it one half hour this fall and leave it. That way everybody is equally happy (or unhappy)

Even Ben Franklin had STUPID ideas, and daylight savings time is one of the STUPIDEST !
I, and many who spend a good deal of time outdoors , or at least have a window, can easily learn to tell sun time within a quarter-hour ;the semi-annual playing with clocks is just confusing.

I'm told Franklin didn't actually hold the string to the kite in a thunderstorm, but the experiment was still a dangerous stunt in the manner in which it was conducted.
My major beefs are twofold: 1) This is arroant overreaching by the Government and 2) It is d^mn disconcerting and inconvenient to re-set my body clock twice a year!
(Maybe I should just have some herbal tea and relax?)

They show re-runs of the "Twilight Zone". :)

I have family that live in and around Louisville, Ky. It drives me crazy to ask the time and be asked "real, fast or double fast time?"

I'm a clock collector, and it's a real pleasure [with my 23 clocks] not to have to worry about resetting them at inconvenient times thoroughout the year.

Well, after a few MORE weeks on the Rez, you would have discovered "Navajo time", which is very similar to "manyana" a few hundred miles south of the Rez.

Actually, in some parts of the USA they refer to it as "Roosevelt time".

I forgt the best one; that historical question: "Did the Japanese go and sit down and have dinner with Pearl Harbor before they bombed him?"

"The chickens do not adapt to the changed clock until several weeks have gone by so the first week of April and the last week of October are very frustrating for us." LOL! Since when did any chicken ever know what time we humans were using?
To: SamAdams76
Yikes!!
I don't have time to read all this.
To: SamAdams76
