what gets me is that the car seems to have been physically altered to be a shooting platform - a cut-out in the trunk, and a rear seat removed so that the shooter could lie down - and the police did not notice this.
also did they enter all the license plate numbers of the cars they stopped? yes, because they know they had stopped this car 10 times. so where is the search that pulls up all the plates that show up twice, thrice, five times, ten times?

. . . so where is the search that pulls up all the plates that show up twice, thrice, five times, ten times? It's willful negligence, imo, and Moose should be jailed. It's an elementary procedure, isn't it, and would've taken 5 seconds to run that search? But, nooooooooooo . . . they were having too much fun inconveniencing hundreds of thousands of commuters and yanking white guys out of their trucks, throwing them to the ground, and handcuffing them. A big dog and pony show.

THAT was exactly my first thought. In this day and age of computers, you'd think they would compare all the plates that show up, precisely to see if a plate shows up again and again. After the second time the same plate shows up, it should have been checked -- as a huge red flag. Considering the random times and places, it would be highly unlikely for anyone not involved to be in two locations at the same time, never mind 3,4,...10!!!! times. This kind of plate comparison should be totally elementary police work. I can't imagine why they didn't do this -- instead of diligently looking for some "disenchanted white guy" calling them on the phone.
