``We were looking for a white van with white people, and we ended up with a blue car with black people,'' said Washington, D.C., Police Chief Charles Ramsey, whose department ran the Caprice's license Oct. 3, just hours before a fatal shooting in Washington that has been tied to the sniper suspects, John Allen Muhammad, 41, and John Lee Malvo, 17.

In retrospect, I'm surprised Chief Moose never issued a BOLO alert for a white man in a white truck with a white gun.

Yeah, LOL, "stop, I really mean it this time; your in alot of trouble if we ever catch you buddy."

In our city, and many cities now, if we would have stopped the sniper vehicle, and we had no knowledge of them being involved in the shootings; if they would have took off in their car, we would not be allowed to chase them, we'd just have to wave at them and watch them drive away.

Actually, those Rat Voters and mediots are predictable in their defense of the Black Racist, PC Moose. What is incredible are the pseudo conservatives who are defending his Black Racist and PC tactics which endangered every white male driving or riding in white van.

We have cops who work in Metro housing, nearly every morning they go read to elementary school kids, leaving noone in the projects to catch criminals.

We regular beat cops ("turn trash") have to take up the slack and not only patrol our own districts but go into theirs and handle their work while they are reading to these kids.

But hey, I guess that's what the people want.

Sure, classroom outreach is a waste of time, and it makes Soccer Moms happy, and leftist pols hypocritically support these programs, but it is PD programs that pay for it. If the union were as opposed to these goofy programs as they are to civilian review, I think you know what the result would be. Cops have a lot of influence over how their work is organized. It is time for them to use that influence better.

Look at, for example, the stunning impact of a Neveda chiefs' group comin out in fevor of pot legalization. But that is just a tiny pinhole of light in the blue wall.

It was probably a good cop like you who decide to put the license plate of the serial killers in DC out to the news people to end the charade started and pushed by the Black Racist, PC Moose. Go to this thread and read it and the last two sentences, which say it all: (link)

These are the last two sentences in that thread:

The car was even caught in the background on news footage—and still the jigsaw did not piece together.

Finally, police realised the car they were looking for. But Chief Charles Moose refused to reveal the number plate. It was only when one of his team leaked it that the pair were found one-and-a-half hours later.

Sorry but LELDF is part of the problem. They supported Swartz in the case of a suspect anally raped in a station bathroom. It stretches (and then snaps, twists, and mutilates) credulity to think that cops, who would normally know it if a suspect flicked a booger onto a bathroom mirror, could be anally raped by several cops without the whole station hearing it. Swartz has a lame claim to have heard no evil. That can't be allowed.

Exactly and the general population isn't aware of this.

I should add that that is a pity. LELDF normally has good criteria for selecting cases, but got sucked into the Schwarz case. They should have backed off.

When Moose stood up and had a mail in tip address with a corrected zip code in today's world of emails, faxes, phones and voice mail, we knew that they were not interested in tips. How slow is the mail in that area? What if someone in Tacoma, Washington or in Alabama had a tip and mailed it in?

First of all, let me say that Moose was the biggest problem in this whole case, but this PO box, was not for leads... In fact it was one of the few things Moose did, that might have caught these idiots. It didn't, but if the information that did catch the perps was not leaked, this might have.

The bar codes on the bottom of our mail has a great deal of information, and guess what, the post office has a record of your return address on mail that you send out (You, Grampa). (if you put it on)

Maybe someone here has a pointer to the details on this PO data collection scheme?)

That doesn't work if you drop the mail in a PO box away from where you live.

As of now, we have no address of where they lived. It appears that they slept in their car.

Well, if Malvo was stupid enough to tell the person on the hotline that they should check with the cops in Montgomery, Alabama; if they didn't believe him? Why would he smart enough to do as you suggest re his mail.

As of now, we have no address of where they lived. It appears that they slept in their car.

They were not living in their car for 20+ days straight, I'll bet. They had a safe house in the Aspen Hill area and that person is very scared about now.

Moose on TV now (CNN) saying, "I think everyone in MC is glad that we got the weapon off the street." Give me a break, that is BS...

He could have had some former in law relative he stayed at.

We live on a hill and a lot of walkers pass up and down the hill. A couple of times they have left outgoing letters in my mailbox in my yard by the street.

I know of what you are talking about, and I have taken those letters to the Post Office in town just in case there was something bad.

I discussed this with our regular mail guy, and he just throws all the mail he picks up into a bag. Then he seals that bag, and it is sent to the regional center without the bag being opened. So he felt that there was no way anyone could track any letter leaving any single personal mailbox.

Did you hear Moose accusing CNN of not calling the police with the info that someone called CNN saying, I am God? I was waiting for Moose to repeat his famous quote from Portland... Wolf, who was that honky bitch that took that call?

At the regional center the last four digits of your 9 digit zip code is recorded for that bag. In my area, one mail man only has a few 4 digit codes to pick and deliver from.

I don't hold Moose in high regard. All the PC buzzwords he used were a tip-off about what's going on his mind. Moose is poorly spoken and really had not much to say all along. Ted Williams (Fox commentator) also uses some Black dialect but makes tons of sense. Williams also said the two definitely need the death penalty. So it's not a racial thing for me. It's that Mossie is a flaming liberal. A creature of the liberal wing of the law enforcement establishment. Janet Reno's boy.

The biggest mistake of Moosie and other honchos was not to ask the national police database to kick out those license plates that had been run through many times. 10 times in the case of John Muhammad. But they meant well and that's all that counts for liberals. They meant well by zeroing in on homegrown white guys when reality it was a Black Muslim terrorist behind the shootings

so your proof that he committed a crime is that he must have known. That's not enough proof for me.
