Illegals vote Democratic. And the Left is invested in keeping even legal immigrants English-illiterate, which is why they push slow-track ESL. Immersion works; they don't want what works. They want another government-dependent subclass.
Answer; Sure is, and it has been around for a long time. ALthough it pre-dates this, I will start with Pres George H Bush, when Clinton was Governor of Arkansas (Clinton helped shape "America 2000"), then shows up again as "Goals 2000" when Clinton is Pres.(he added some goals)and now is called "NO Child Left Behind". It is all the same legislation with some modifications along the way. It has just grown bigger and more controlling from the top down. Makes every state education department "accountable" to the feds (they will deny this, noting that it is vouluntary). Creates a School-to-work training system. Note that Sen Kennedy, who stood along side at the signing is Chair of the Education and Workforce Training Committee.
All the same programs, only the names have changed, to "confuse" the innocent. (sarcasm off)
Forgot to add that this study is several years old, so there are many more homeschoolers today, including my own three boys!
We've only been homeschooling for four years (oldest was going into 3rd grade when we started), so we've had a chance to see a real difference in our family dynamics. Our three boys really enjoy playing together now, and get along so much better. This carries over into their relationships with their friends and participation in group activities, too.
In addition to the many other benefits, this was one I hadn't anticipated, but am thrilled to see!
Let's start there. Illegals should not vote at all, and making sure that they do not, falls on us. At least that's the way The Founders set the whole thing up.

Now, unless I've missed it, the US Congress has yet to pass a law forcing the States to allow illegal immigrants to vote, it is up to each individual County to stop this from happening.
That's the first part of the answer.
The second part is two-fold.
Number one is that the total number of illegals sneaking in to vote would be meaningless if we, as citizens, would take our civil duties more seriously, and managed to get to the polls at more than 50% for presidential elections, and 37% for non-presidential election years.
Self-governance means just that. The Founders set up an interactive system of government, not an spectator sport.
HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association) does a fantastic job of staying on top of legislation issues. They really came through for us in Minnesota last year when a Senate bill threatened to tighten regulations on homeschoolers. (we were part of the crowd at the State Capitol!)

I have dozens of studies, editorials, census figures, and articles that can prove that statement to be not true.

A few weeks ago, all scholarship pointed to a young, white, solitary white male as the Beltway shooter.
Our ancesters assimiliated because they HAD to. They also WANTED to, by and large. They didn't have the privilege of bringing their country with them with full financial support of the host country.
I wholeheartedly endorse generous immigration laws. We need and want lots of legal immigrants--from many countries!--, coming in an orderly and lawful fashion. But now the first experience immigrants have is scoffing and shrugging and disrespecting those same laws, rebuffing even the friendly communities in which they find themselves, even while making free use of all the services that are supported by those communities.
The present situation will lead to dislocations and many stresses.
