Explosion, Gunfire Heard From Moscow Theater Where 600 Hostages Being Held by Chechen Rebels
The Associated Press
M O S C O W, Oct. 25 Chechen rebels threatened to begin killing their 600 hostages in a Moscow theater at dawn Saturday, but later promised to free the captives if Russian President Vladimir Putin declared an end to the war in Chechnya and began withdrawing troops.
A few hours after the demands became known, an explosion and gunshots were heard from the theater early Saturday but an AP photographer with a view of the building's entrance saw no signs of a blast. There was no official comment, and earlier most journalists were moved away from the theater.

I don't understand the syringes either...there are only three possibilities I can think of:
1. The terrorists are druggies.
2. They were using drugs to pacify hostages.
3. The authorities put them there as a propaganda tool against the Islamofascists...to discredit them in the eyes of their allies.
But I don't know.

Drugs maybe?Probably amphetamines. palestinian suicide squads in the 70s thrived on them during their missions. Keeps them insanely pumped up and awake.

How bizarre, so they are mercenaries (sp)actually.

Well, yea. I used to follow the 2nd chechen conflict, and there was always talk about money trails from UAE and Saudis. In fact Russians actually posed photos of the passports/papers they took off foreign nationals who joined chechens in their fight against them... Money was wired to the warlords, and they filtered it down to their fighters.

I thought drugs and booze were against their religion.Members of suicide squads are allowed 'special dispensation' because of their 'great sacrifice' during their mission. The palestinian squads even used to have drug and sex orgies (including female members of the squads) before they started. Alot of things that would normally be 'sins' are allowed to them. Hence Atta and his boys guzzling booze before 9/11.

Thanks for your info. The only thing I kew about these chechens came from that horrid head sawing off video I mistakenly watched. It was of a young Russian soldier.

Oh, yea. I saw that one years ago... Saw a couple of others too.. Guy getting his head chopped off with an axe, people getting their figners cut/shot off.. Sick stuff. I felt ill for at least a week, but that's in fact why I became interested in the conflict and began following it.. Weird.

That video bothered me for a month. I follow the Israel/pali conflict closely and visited there in the summer of 2001. Quite an interesting place.

Udugov is known to be into Saudi money and both he and the Barayevs hated Aslan. They set this up to be a double win, embarrass both Putin and Aslan at the same time.
Plus, about a month ago kavkaz.org had a wierd site attached to it that I tried to get into...called Liro2. You keep reading how the model for this thing was the hospital in Buddenovsk takeover. This is their number 2.
And finally as of today kavkaz is once again accessible. Every thing is gone, everything. Just one simple sign, "Under construction".
Has to be Ugudov.

I find the female Islama wench dead and UNVEILED to be particularly sweet. The Russians clearly know how to deal with these scum.
The wine in hand comes as a close second.

That makes no sense to me ...Me either. I had a pali spend 45 minutes attempting to justisfy and explain this to me one time, and I understood less when it was over than I did when it started.

I mean "has to be Udugov".
