Diversity only counts if you are part of the excepted group.

Personally I always thought Fawell was a little lite in the loafers, most clergy, of all Faiths, are.

In the small town of Ferndale, Mich Anyone that knows the Detroit Metro area would see this as very misleading...

Ferndale is not a small town. It's a suburb of Detroit, next to Royal Oak, and is the "Ann Arbor" or Oakland County.

Falwell's right. They don't want diversity, they want group think acceptance of their perversion and anyone who disagrees with them isn't being diverse enough apparently

And they will face this inequity under the dark guise of diversity*Shiver*
We shall not go quietly into the night BUMP!

It's time we used the left's agenda against itself. Any time some employer requires 'diversity training' regarding anything of a sexual nature, we begin to cry 'sexual harrassment.'

Heckuva headline, that. I thought for a moment that I was going to have to embark on a whole new relationship with my co-workers...

I have a family member who was disciplined by his supervisor (he works for the Fed. Govt) for complaining about a "Black History Month" mass-email that celebrated the Black Panthers.
Diversity and Tolerance only count if you're one of the "oppressed."

"In Hayward, Calif., earlier this year, high school teachers were informed they would be required to attend an in-service program focusing on "gay/lesbian/bi-sexual/ transgender youth." When some teachers complained, saying their religious beliefs were violated by the program, school officials said the school district's requirement for teachers to attend trumped provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which provides broad protections for people of religious faith in the workplace.'
The principle of unintended consequences is hard at work in Title VII. You create legislation based on race, racial discrimination, not equality, is the ultimate result. Then, it is but a small step for liberal courts to mistake the PRIVILEGE of being tolerated for the RIGHT of freedom of conscience.

DIVERSITY = "BEND OVER"
BUMP!

"perception" IS "truth" What one's eyes see and ears hear, one's mind believes. If there is such a thing as The Truth, it belongs only to God.
What is truly sad here is that falsehoods are trumping FACTS. The homosexual lobby has done an appallingly good job of calling a rose by another name and thus making it not a rose.

In this present age, diversity is an alluring word that the left utilizes to camouflage its ongoing effort to silence people of faith who uphold the Judeo-Christian values that our nation embraced for nearly two centuries. I somewhat disagree...a better read might be:
"In this present age, diversity is an alluring word that the left utilizes to camouflage its ongoing effort to silence and demonize everyone who doesn't agree with them."

the school district's requirement for teachers to attend trumped provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which provides broad protections for people of religious faith in the workplace. Does this same school district regulation override the constitutional protection guaranteed by the clause from the First Amendment that reads "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF."
This, and cases like it, beg for a legal challenge. Damn! If only I had gone to law school ...

I keep wondering why they repeat the mantra, "Diversity is strength." Race riots, religious persecution, and minority oppression only happen in diverse nations. Communication misunderstandings (different languages), cultural conflicts (eg Indian religious use of drugs vs American anti-drug laws), and divisive laws (eg Jim Crow) don't happen in places that are homogeneous (Iceland). Having a multitude of differing viewpoints is always wonderful (eg, FReeRepublic), but that would be found whether there were one distinct American culture or 45 competing foreign and domestic cultures.

I don't always agree with Jerry Falwell but he sure makes some great points here.
