They can only take it seriously if the have the manpower. I'm sure it was low priority because they were flooded. Remember, it was October, 2001, mere weeks after 9-11.

When are they going to start taking our tips seriously? When they start getting fired, or prosecuted, for the consequences of not doing so when they should have.
But the Lieberals would rather the killers went free, than that law enforcement acted proactively - if we actually managed to catch these guys before they commit their crimes, the Lieberals would lose their biggest excuse for wanting to grab our guns.
