The people at Stuart's Coffee House remember John Allen Muhammad as a quiet chess player who never wanted to be apart from his big, stuffed, heavy U.S. Army duffel bag.

At this point, nobody can prove that the bag Muhammad was lugging around contained the Bushmaster AR-15 rifle that police found in his car when he and 17-year-old John Lee Malvo were arrested at a Maryland rest stop early Thursday. By the end of the day, ballistics tests had tied that weapon to the bloody East Coast sniping spree that left 10 people dead.

Tell me about it. Nonetheless, after having a few drinks I occassionally don the obligatory tinfoil hat and costume (sometimes even wallpapering the office in it if need be).

For instance, when I really get on a tinfoil tear, I fret that 9/11/01 was supposed to happen on Clinton's watch on 9/11/00. It was on that date in 2000 that Muhammed Atta's roommate flew his small private plane into a twin engined aircraft in Florida (almost like a desperation attack due to the main attack not yet being set up).

Can you imagine the possible repercussions if the attacks here in the U.S. had actually started one year earlier?!

One of the DC Area shootings was at the Home Depot next door to a Mosque. The snipers wanted the police to read the message "caught Like A Duck In a Noose" (L,A,D,I,N = Bin Ladin) on the air, etc.

Another(former FBI) profilier, Clint Van Zandt, said they should be looking into who else is involved, said the gun he had was not cheap, said around $700 at least. He was sure getting funding from someone. Our cops, FBI etc. need to wake up & realize that the terrorists have invaded our country, one way or another, and start calling this terrorism, cause it is!

When they start getting fired, or prosecuted, for the consequences of not doing so when they should have.

But the Lieberals would rather the killers went free, than that law enforcement acted proactively - if we actually managed to catch these guys before they commit their crimes, the Lieberals would lose their biggest excuse for wanting to grab our guns.
